The ring girl, 27, and the finance student, 23, are said to have parted ways after “growing naturally” since returning to the UK.

It comes after Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook were the first couple from the winter 2023 series to break up, having broken up just days after leaving the villa.

Olivia and Maxwell reportedly had a talk about their relationship on Thursday and decided to part ways, but remain on “good terms.”

said a source Sun: “Although it was rumored that they had already broken up, yesterday they only had a proper conversation about the direction of their relationship, and they both agreed that the writing was on the wall.

“They had fun while it lasted, and no hard feelings at all, but obviously he’s gone to Mexico and Olivia has been focused on work projects. They have drifted apart naturally.

MailOnline has contacted ITV and Olivia’s representatives for comment.

The pair were kicked out of the South African villa shortly before the grand finale and left the show as a couple, later appearing on the reunion show together.

Meanwhile, Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook were also kicked out of the village a few days before the final, which saw Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan win the 50k prize.

Two weeks later, they announced that they had broken up, revealing that “life outside the villa is very different for them.”

And they weren’t the only couple who struggled to adjust to life away from the show, as Zara Lackenby-Brown and Jordan Odofin also confirmed they’ve split.

It comes after things heated up on the Love Island reunion show after Martin apologized to Shaq for X-rated comments he made about his girlfriend, Tanya.

The trio found themselves in a love triangle while on the ITV show, after Tanya returned from Casa Amor with Martin on her arm.

But as time went on, Tanya realized her heart went out to Shaq, coming back to him and finishing the show in fourth place.

But as he sat down on the couch to be questioned by host Maya Jama during the reunion special, Shaq confronted Martin about comments he’d made since leaving the South African villa.

Actually speaking with Will Njobvu, Martin had shared an x-rated comment that he claimed caused Shaq to break down on Movie Night.

Shaq began, ‘I think for me, I want to know why you (Martin) walked off the show and started going on podcasts saying you would sleep with Tanya in ways you can’t imagine.

‘Because one, that didn’t happen and two, if that’s how you choose to talk about women, that’s up to you. But it’s disgusting.

Surprised by her question, Martin replied: ‘Okay, that’s fair. That’s fair enough. But if you watch the podcast, you’ll know that’s not what happened.

‘But, but what I will say is that I didn’t expect you, you know, to say that that’s what happened or whatever.

‘But I will say, yes, I crossed the line there. You know, she shouldn’t have said that. So I apologize to Tanya, mainly because we never recognized what she talked about.

‘But did you say it?’ Shaq responded.

Martin said, ‘Yes, I did, I was saying that in reference to what happened.

‘Because where did I say that?’ Shaq responded.

Martin confirmed: ‘You were there. I don’t want to call the boys, but…’

Maya Jama then quickly jumped in: ‘No, you know what it’s time to scream.

Martin continued: ‘OK, Max was there, Kai was there, but I’m not sure if he was listening, I don’t remember.

I only told you four things that day, if you remember. On movie night. You made a low comment and I tried to hit back. But it was low.

Intervening, Tanya said, “Well, I mean, it would have been really nice if you just apologized directly and didn’t say it on the podcast in the first place.”

Martin replied: ‘Well, you haven’t come out. This is the first time I see you now.

Wrapping up the exchange, Shaq said, “I just want to clarify that you didn’t say that and the reason I was upset on Movie Night was because I was upset about the whole environment and I was homesick.”

‘Sorry, we have to move on just because time is alive, but thank you so much for joining us. We can discuss this off camera later,” Maya concluded.
