Love Island: All Stars’ first couples are REVEALED as exes Jake and Liberty are reunited and Georgia S delights at being paired with Toby – as fans criticise public vote

The first couples for Love Island: All Stars have been revealed after viewers were tasked with matching the 12 returning singles in the ITV2 series.

In the final moments of Monday’s launch show, host Maya Jama announced which girls and boys would be paired together, and the result threw out some unlikely pairings.

Former flames Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole were immediately reunited, putting a three-year end to their romance in the 2021 series.

Despite three girls admitting that Chris Taylor caught their attention earlier in the episode, the audience decided he would be best suited for Demi Jones.

Although the couple admitted they wouldn’t have been each other’s first choice, it was something they could “work on.”

Next up was series one Luis Morrison and it was revealed he was linked to 2017 star Georgia Harrison.

The Essex beauty shared her delight at the vote, saying: ‘I’m glad I really like Luis, I think he has a nice voice, he’s from London so yeah, it’s a good fit.’

Toby Aromolaran was chosen to be paired with Georgia Steele, with the pair’s history coming as a shock to fans earlier in the episode.

The duo, who did not appear together on the main show, were linked to the recent spin-off series The Games, which did not air in Britain.

After Georgia said their relationship “didn’t get off the ground,” the other girls suggested there may be unfinished business between the pair.

It was clear the pair were comfortable in each other’s company, with Georgia struggling to explain their sizzling chemistry.

Anton Danyluk was paired with Hannah Elizabeth, with viewers panicking to see if Jake and Liberty would be reunited.

It was soon revealed that the pair would be linked together, with things clearly awkward between them as they shared a brief embrace.

When asked if there was any chance they could rekindle their romance, Liberty and Jake responded with a firm “No.”

This then meant that Mitch Taylor and Kaz Kamwi were the sixth and final couple.

Fans were quick to share their anger over Jake and Liberty being paired together, with some claiming viewers had ‘dirted’ her.

One posted: ‘They did Liberty bad! Why on Earth!’

Another added: ‘This was always going to happen. The crowd is bad,” while a third tweeted: “This is just disgusting.”

Their hysteria caused one fan to post: ‘Phaaa has never laughed so hard, this is the funniest thing ever, this is why I love Love Island hahaha.’
