Love Island star teases appearance on upcoming All Stars series as fans spot clues

A former Love Island star has teased she could have a role in the upcoming All Stars series as fans discovered clues.

Paige Thorne, who became a fan favorite on season eight of the hit reality show in 2022, has hinted at a possible appearance.

The paramedic, 26, has been unlucky in love after having failed romances with co-stars Jacques O'Neill and Adam Collard.

Paige shared an update on Instagram this week, wishing her followers a Merry Christmas and receiving a slew of questions.

One fan said: 'Are we going to see you on All Stars?'

Paige heavily hinted that she has signed on for the series and gave the comment a like.

Last month, sources claimed her 'awkward run' with men and her 'feisty and fiery' personality had landed her a place in the South African villa.

When contacted by MailOnline, an ITV spokesperson said: 'Currently no Islanders have been confirmed for the upcoming series of Love Island: All Stars.'

It comes after Love Island All Stars was reportedly thrown into chaos after the cast demanded more money just weeks before its huge launch on ITV1 and ITV2.

The new series is expected to feature singletons from previous series as they continue their search for their dream partner, with MailOnline previously revealing that spoken stars could also make guest appearances on the show.

According to The ZoN the reality stars, who have not yet been officially announced, are refusing to sign their contracts after claiming that a 433% increase on their original compensation was simply not enough.

The publication reported that the singletons were offered £2,000 a week for their gigs at the new villa, which appears to be 433% more than their original stints which only earned them £375 a seven days.

A source said: '[The cast] are pressing ITV for more money, saying £2,000 a week isn't enough.'

They added: 'Many of the islanders rely on their social media deals to make money and entering the villa will eliminate their source of income.

'The All Stars cast are banding together to try to pile on the pressure, but as far as ITV is concerned the pay deal on the table is good and fair.'

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

The show is set for a huge launch in both countries and has been unveiled just like the channel ahead of the Big Brother premiere in October.

A source told MailOnline: 'All Stars is lined up for a simulcast on ITV and ITV2 for the launch show when it airs next year, the same as what we successfully did for Big Brother.'

“It also works as another way to bring younger viewers to the channel, as we have done with things like I'm A Celeb, the BRITs and An Audience with Kylie.”

In October, Paige seemed to have found new love in Formz, real name Josh Foreman, who is famous for his football-themed raps and TikTok content.

The pair first sparked romance rumors in the summer when eagle-eyed fans spotted them posting from the same locations during a trip to Barcelona.

A source told MailOnline at the time that Formz asked Paige to be his girlfriend during a fancy dinner at The Shard.

The pair kept their romance low-key but enjoyed outings with friends – recently attending an Eastbourne Borough FC match alongside Paige's co-star Danica Taylor.

Formz, 24, also featured Paige in one of his TikTok videos from Spain, and while he kept her off-camera, her voice could be heard in the background of his clip during a match between Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona.

Paige split from Adam in October after she accused him of cheating when he was filmed flirting with other girls on a night out.

Earlier this year, Paige sparked rumors she had rekindled her romance with Jacques as she reflected on their time in the villa.

During the Not My Bagg podcast, Paige joked, “Honestly, if I had the [Love Island] edits – because they're always mine and Jacques – I fall in love again and I'm like “oh my God, he's my prince charming!”

Jacques is a funny one, because really, we're not friends, right? We're not actually friends because we liked each other.'

'I just don't think you can just be friends with someone you want that for. You actually can't. With him it will always be like “what could it have been?”, but we will never know now. We chat, of course we chat. We'll chat.'

As to whether they had gone on a date, she added: 'Not a date as such. I saw him, but no, it wasn't a date. It wasn't a date, it wasn't a date! – cut.'
