Pregnant Shaughna Phillips has revealed that her baby’s lack of movement resulted in a terrifying rush to the hospital.

The 28-year-old Love Island star told her 1.4 million Instagram followers last week that she had sought medical attention, sharing a snapshot from her hospital bed.

“I had pain in my belly for about two or three days and I noticed that the baby was moving less.”

However, after being monitored and hooked up to a machine, he thankfully said the little boy started “moving like crazy.”

She then underwent tests and found she had a urine infection and was then prescribed antibiotics.

‘I wasn’t convinced [it was a urine infection] because I’ve had them before, but it didn’t feel like it. Apparently the symptoms can change when you’re pregnant.’

‘They said yes [infection] left untreated, it can cause the water source to break. It was very important that I go. It could have cleared up on its own, but it could also have gotten worse.’

Last week, after arriving at the hospital, she wrote on Instagram: “I came to the hospital this morning because I’ve been having some weird pain in my belly for the last few days that was worrying me.”

The baby is happy and relaxed, but I have an infection that needs treatment.

“I’m always afraid that I’m wasting hospital time or that what I’m feeling might be normal when your body is growing like a baby, but I’m glad I listened to my gut.”

It comes after Shaughna revealed that she won’t be naming her unborn baby after his late father because she still struggles with the loss of him not being here.

She said that if she has a boy, he will be called Billy Edward and his middle name will be inherited from his father who sadly lost his life to cancer in 2016.

She explained that the baby will be named Billy after her boyfriend, who is the father, because “it would be too much” for her to say her late father’s name every day.

Shaughna said: ‘My dad’s name will be the baby’s middle name. There are a few reasons why I’m not going to name my baby after my dad.

‘I still struggle with my father not being here, so I think it would be too much for me. The baby will be Billy Edward if he is a boy.

She added: “We’re keeping the girl’s name a secret, but it’s not a sentimental name, just a name we both love.”

The former islander announced she was expecting in October by captioning a montage that included scans of the baby, “our biggest chapter yet.”

‘Struggle’ – It comes after Shaughna revealed earlier this week that she won’t be naming her unborn baby after her late father because she still struggles with the loss of him not being here.

She shares the fetus with her boyfriend Billy, who is not in the public eye and prefers to keep his identity hidden.

Asked by a fan during an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday why she’s keeping their relationship a “secret,” Shaughna replied: “It’s my boyfriend’s choice not to post on my social media so I respect that.” .
