Love Island star Luca Bish is rushed to hospital as he shares video of himself in wheelchair after leg injury
Former Love Islander Luca Bish was taken to hospital on Saturday after suffering a painful leg injury.
The 25-year-old reality star left fans worried after sharing a short clip on his Instagram Stories that showed him being pushed around in a wheelchair.
His leg was tied and he was holding crutches, but he gave no explanation as to how he had sustained the nasty injury.
The Love Island star lightened things up by singing Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud in the background, which includes the lyrics: ‘my legs don’t work like they used to’.
It is not known whether the reality star is still in hospital. MailOnline has contacted Luca’s representatives for more information.

The cryptic clip emerged shortly after Luca, who rarely posts on social media, shared a series of photos he took during his trip to watch the European Championships in Germany earlier in July.
The TV personality captioned the post, “I’m coming home and I’m coming back,” suggesting he plans to be more active online.
In one photo, Luca looked relaxed on a private jet and in another selfie, the former Islander looked excited as he prepared to watch an England match, wearing sunglasses and a pearl necklace.
The star’s followers were thrilled with this rare update, responding en masse to the comments and urging him to post more.
Jacques O’Neill, Luca’s Fellow and former Islander from season eight, also joked, “Oh gosh, please post more Luca,” while season nine’s Ron Hall noted, “Always enjoy your annual posts.”
Luca rose to fame on the eighth season of Love Island, finishing in second place alongside 21-year-old Gemma Owen, the daughter of former footballer Michael Owen.
But the couple split in November 2022, just three months after the series ended.
Gemma confirmed their split at the time in a statement on her Instagram Stories, saying it was “not an easy decision.”

She wrote: ‘To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It was not an easy decision, but ultimately it is the best for both of us at this time.
‘So many of you have been with us on this journey from the beginning and I want to thank you for your continued support as we begin new chapters. Love always, Gem x.’
Luca also shared his own statement confirming the split: ‘I would have liked some time to process this privately, but as you all know, Gemma and I have sadly mutually decided to separate earlier today.
“We’ve been on such a journey together and have made some amazing memories that I will cherish forever. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the support for us as a couple during and after Love Island.
“We remain good friends and I wish her all the best.”
Since the show, Luca has performed sensationally well in Celebrity MasterChef in 2023, even reaching the grand final.
Meanwhile, Gemma launched her own company, OG Promotions Ltd, to manage her influencer deals.
She is believed to be currently single, after divorcing Aadam, the son of British boxer Prince Naseem Hamed.
The couple’s relationship was confirmed in October 2023 when both the reality star and the 23-year-old boxer posted separate photos at the same location in Dubai.

But on the red carpet at the Beauty Awards in late November 2023, Gemma revealed she was ‘completely single’.

In May 2023, Gemma was introduced to Irish content creator Damien Broderick after they spent a fun day together at the Kentucky Derby in America.
Just days after Damien reportedly split from his influencer girlfriend Karina Lira, Gemma managed to distract him from the breakup with a fun outing.
On two separate days, Gemma and Damien posed arm in arm in their glamorous outfits at the races.
It was Gemma’s first relationship since she and Luca ended things.
