A source said this The sun: ‘[Gemma] was incredibly young when she first starred on the show at 19, but now as a 21-year-old she hopes her first experience will help her get a second chance at love.
‘Michael is preparing for a new series to support his daughter’s date in front of the whole country – but he was so proud of Gemma during her first villa stint that he knows she is sensible and can be trusted.

‘As well as finding a long-term partner, Gemma has seen how lucrative All Stars can be for the participating islanders and, as an astute businesswoman, she certainly sees it as a money-making opportunity.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Gemma and ITV for comment.
Gemma is the eldest of four children Michael shares with his wife Louise.
Ahead of her first appearance on the show, she admitted that her father, the English legend, was ‘not happy’ with her signing up, but he trusted her not to ’embarrass’ him.
The swimwear brand owner told MailOnline at the time that Michael resisted throwing a ‘tantrum’ after learning she would be appearing on the dating show, eventually giving his blessing, saying: ‘I’m not going to tell you what to do. ‘
She said: “I still wouldn’t say my dad is that excited about me doing Love Island.
‘He is very supportive of everything I decide to do. He didn’t have a huge tantrum or anything like that. He was quite cold, he trusts me not to do anything to embarrass him. He took it very well.
‘He didn’t say I couldn’t do this, or tell me what I could or couldn’t do. He said, I’m not going to tell you what to do, I trust you, you never gave us a reason not to trust you, go for it, but I will always have my family’s thoughts and opinions at the forefront because we are all super close and they are the most important people to me.”

Her appearance on the show in 2022 was not without controversy and saw fans calling for a higher minimum age after expressing their shock at the fact that Gemma was only 19 years old.
During the opening episode, the contestants took part in a ‘dares’ challenge where the teenager was asked to kiss the ‘boy she fancied most’ in the Mallorcan villa.
She was linked to Liam Llewellyn, 22, but leaned in for a kiss with Italian bombshell Davide Sanclimenti, who was 27 at the time.
But at the time, fans were divided as many took to X to call for a higher minimum age for the show, as it is currently 18 years old.
Viewers gave their opinion on what they thought the minimum age for the show should be, as they claimed Gemma was ‘too young’ to appear on the dating programme.
One person wrote: ‘She’s too young for Love Island. The age limit should be 21 years. A teenager trying to get a 27 year old man to show interest in him or her doesn’t sit right with me at all!’
Another wrote: ‘Sorry the age limit for Love Island should be 21.’
A third tweeted: ‘There should be an age limit on joining #LoveIsland 21+.’
And a fourth commented: ‘Raise the age limit on this show. For people who really had love, but it didn’t work out and for people who are really looking for it.
’25 is an age when most people start getting into serious relationships. These people are too young and only want the plt deals.’
