Love Island star Callum Macleod is set to become a father for the first time after announcing he is expecting a baby with wife Jade.

The aircraft engineer married Jade in June 2023, after proposing to her in October of that year during a beautiful sunset.

Callum shared the happy news on Instagram on Sunday by posting snaps with his pregnant wife by the sea.

Callum and Jade beamed as they posed with ultrasound scans of their future baby, and an excited photo was shown of them holding their positive pregnancy test.

“The best things in life are THREE…” was the caption of the post.

Several other Love Islanders immediately congratulated their couple on their announcement.

Lucie Donlan said: ‘Awwwww congrats guys,’ while Yewande Biala added: ‘Congrats .’

‘Awe, what wonderful news! Congratulations to both of you,’ Rosie Williams said.

Meanwhile, both Connagh Howard and Elma Pazar congratulated the couple.

When Callum announced their engagement in October 2022, he shared on Instagram the stunning moment his love said ‘yes’ after getting down on one knee at sunset.

It seemed like Jade was taken completely by surprise when she posed for a photo along a beautiful coastline, and then he asked her to marry him.

After he put the camera down, he could see Callum running over to Jade and pulling a ring out of his jacket pocket.

Alongside the video he wrote: ‘WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!! Last week’s sunrise was special… 08.10.22’

Callum starred in the ITV2 dating show in 2019, becoming the first Islander to be evicted from the villa after not being chosen for a relationship.

He previously expressed regret over his time in the villa and admitted he should have been tougher.

The South Wales aircraft engineer, who quit his job to take part in the programme, reflected on his five days on the show on This Morning.

When discussing his approach to finding love, he reasoned, “I was a little [too soft].

‘I told them this before I went in. I said, “I’m not that type of guy,” I wouldn’t go in and take a girl.

Callum was initially in a relationship with Amber Gill, but it soon became apparent that their relationship was purely platonic.

In hindsight, Callum admitted that he should have given other girls in the villa a chance. He admitted: ‘I would like to be with Amy again [Hart] or Anna [Vakili] because we were very much alike.’
