Love Island star Andrea ‘AJ’ Bunker reveals secret hospital dash

Love Island star Andrea ‘AJ’ Bunker took to social media on Monday to reveal that she was forced into urgent care at hospital after falling seriously ill over the holidays.

The 30-year-old TV star opened up about her recent absence on social media with a bikini post taken while on vacation in Sri Lanka.

She wrote: ‘Sorry for being so quiet. I got very sick when I got back from Sri Lanka, to the point that I had to go to the ER.

‘Since then, I’ve focused on getting 100% better, while catching up with my family/friends. I finally feel better and will be posting again.’

Andrea appeared on the seventh season of Love Island and had been posting since her recent trip before taking time off from Instagram.

She wrote on the last day of her trip: ‘I entered my 30s in style.

‘Can’t believe it’s my last day in Sri Lanka and almost the end of my 20th birthday trip with @charroserobyn. Sri Lanka has been amazing.’

It’s been quite a while for AJ. She had her cheek filler dissolved in September after Dr Ahmed El Muntasar told her that the filler he had done before going on the ITV2 show was injected incorrectly.

She told The Sun: “It’s so refreshing to have someone be honest with you and not just take your money but say ‘no this doesn’t look good, this is not a good area to get it’ or ‘you don’t’ I don’t even need it at all.’

AJ was rejected by fellow islander Hugo Hammond, when he appeared on Love Island.

Since she was on the show, she found love with a man who ended up being a gay porn star.

She said Sun at the time: ‘It was extreme porn. It was all with men and I could see as clear as day it was him.

“I was absolutely mortified and didn’t think it could get any worse and then I found out. He even asked one of my gay friends to send him photos.
