Love Island’s Lacey Edwards called Deji Adeniyi out for not even taking her on a date yet, as they awkwardly reunited for Sunday’s series reunion.
The professional dancer, 25, came face-to-face with the accounts manager, also 25, two weeks after being booted by viewers for being the ‘least compatible couple’.
And it soon became apparent that fans of the show hadn’t been wrong with their judgments, as Deji claimed his former love interest was ‘p****d’ that he hadn’t made an effort in the real world.

When Aftersun co-host Darren Harriott asked if the pair were ‘going strong’, Deji replied: ‘Yeah, I mean, obviously, we’ve both been very busy so…
‘She’s obviously p****d I haven’t taken her on a first date kind of thing.’
A horrified Darren replied ‘What are you doing? Get your act together!’ with Lacey hilariously adding, ‘You make time for people if you want to, right?’
The presenter continued to stir the pot by asking if it was ‘hard’ to date Deji since he is ‘famously known for wanting problems’.

Stirring the pot: When Aftersun co-host Darren Harriott asked if the pair were ‘going strong’, Deji replied: ‘Yeah, I mean, obviously, we’ve both been very busy so…’
Lacey said: ‘At the moment, he’s giving me problems. It’s been so different since coming out of the villa. It was so intense in the villa, and we both really are two very chill people. I think maybe we’re both being too chill right now.’
Deji had arrived in the villa with Indiyah Polack after forging a connection in Casa Amor, but the two went their separate ways when she reconnected with Dami Hope.
He later found a new spark with Lacey, and the pair seemed excited to explore their budding connection in the outside world.
Back in late July when they were sent packing, a then-hopeful Lacey had said: ‘I am just honestly really grateful that I got to be a part of the show. I’ve made really good friends and I am excited to see what happens with me and Deji.’
Deji left with some iconic parting words, saying: ‘While I’m gone I want everyone to say it with me… I don’t want peace, I want problems!’
Speaking after their exit, he added: ‘I stand by what I did. I don’t want to change anything. I was true to myself, which is why I went for Indiyah and why we got along as much as we did.
‘If anything was fake she would have picked up on it and I would defo have not been myself. I wouldn’t change a thing.’
