Love Island fans slam Joey Essex for telling Grace to ‘shut your mouth’ in a heated row during movie night – as viewers are left in hysterics as he challenges Blade to a race
Love Island fans have slammed Joey Essex after he told his ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson to shut up during a heated row on movie night.
Islanders gathered in the garden on Sunday to settle in for the iconic film night, which has been rebranded as the glossy A-list-style Love Island Film Fest.
But it was a tense evening for Joey, who lashed out at Grace when she criticised him for his behaviour towards her and Jessy Potts.
At one point the conversation got so heated that Joey told Grace to shut up. Fans were furious and started calling out the way he treats women.

Later in the evening, a clip showed Blade making a comment about Joey’s intelligence, saying the former TOWIE star wasn’t ‘the brightest in the business’.
Joey was enraged by the comment. He joked that he was “street smart” and challenged Blade to a foot race, sending fans into an uproar.
At one point, the conversation got so heated that Joey told Grace to shut up, which caused fans to become enraged and criticize the way he spoke to women.

Some viewers found it odd that Joey felt so insulted, thinking he made a career of portraying himself as someone who wasn’t smart.

Some viewers were confused that Joey was so offended, as they felt he had made a career of portraying himself as someone who wasn’t smart.
