Love Island’s Catherine Agbaje and Scott van-der-Sluis refused to deny a romance between the couple on Sunday night’s reunion show.
Catherine and Scott were a solid couple before this year’s Casa Amor, but she bounced back from her time without Scott with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, forcing Scott to hold back tears and their union in tatters.
However, after Catherine and Elom decided to part ways and remain friends shortly after returning to the UK after dumping their villa last month, Scott and Catherine are said to have slipped into each other’s DMs.
The pair were questioned by Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson about the status of their relationship during Love Island: The Reunion this weekend, while Elom sat uncomfortably next to them.
Scott said, “We’re fine with it. We were friends before Catherine left the villa.’

During a TikTok live with fellow Love Island star Montel McKenzie, she said, “I think Scott and I both wish Casa (Amor) never happened.
“It was actually a difficult time. As easy as it seemed, it wasn’t. Even when they spoke to other islanders today, they literally said Casa Amor was the hardest thing.”
She insisted they would have been the couple to beat if they had all just stayed in the same villa for the series.
Catherine said, “I wish we just had our villa lives. It just felt like we were the couple that broke down. I don’t know if you understand me. Don’t make me talk too much. Catch me at the reunion.”

“Catherine’s sister made no secret of her feelings for Elom, so it’s no surprise she calmed things down right away.”
