‘They never stop bugging me’: Love Island fans complain they are bored with ‘terrible’ and ’embarrassing’ challenges and call for return of tweet game

Love Island fans have taken to Twitter to complain that the challenges have become the “absolute worst”.

Tuesday night’s episode saw the islanders tasked with taking part in a space-themed challenge.

The girls had to dress up as sexy astronauts and take on different hot and heavy challenges like dancing around a pole and making out with an islander.

Not happy: Love Island fans have taken to Twitter to complain that the challenges have become the ‘absolute worst’

But while the contestants had a blast, viewers at home were embarrassed by their antics.

One person complained: “Challenges used to be good, for example, the Twitter game and the headline game, but now they’re dire.”

Another added: “Every time I see these challenges, it makes me sick to think that they have to do all this without music.” Instead it’s just silence and some pitiful applause from the other islanders.

Someone else said, “sometimes I think about applying for the show, but the challenges remind me that I’m not cut out for that level of shame.”

A fourth echoed: ‘These challenges never fail to annoy me. Like PLEASE STOP #loveisland’.

While a fifth suggested: ‘The challenges are the worst. We should always know more about them after the challenges and that’s not always the case. And there must be prizes: a date night, access to her phone for 15 minutes, phone call home, girls night at home, etc., etc.

And a sixth agreed, writing: ‘It baffles me how these producers still allow these bullshit challenges to go on. WE NEED THE TWITTER CHALLENGE TO RETURN #TALKSWITHASH #loveisland’.

The complaints arise when viewers were left frustrated after a cliffhanger in Tuesday night’s episode.

The village rocked as three boys and three girls put themselves in danger, and Aussie new bombshells Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters had to decide who would go home.

Following the public vote, Kai Fagan, Tom Clare and Haris Namani were at risk, while Anna-May Robey, Tanyel Revan and Tanya Manhenga were the girls with the fewest votes.

However, the episode was left on a dramatic cliffhanger, with the islanders looking shocked before the two newest islanders made their decision on who to send home.

But viewers were quick to take to Twitter to rage over the cliffhanger, as they claimed it was obvious Haris would be evicted.

It comes after it was revealed ahead of Tuesday’s episode that Haris will be dumped after shocking footage surfaced of him beating up a reveler on a drunken night out.

On Twitter, one fan wrote, “Haris is gone,” while another commented, “We all know Haris is leaving.”

Another wrote: ‘If everyone knows Haris is gone, why didn’t they show it?’

While a fourth raged: ‘What’s the point in that suspense? We already know that Haris is gone.’

And a fifth added: ‘Boring. we know they will be anna-mae and haris. you didn’t need to end it on a cliffhanger.’

Another said: ‘So obviously Haris is on the flight home right?’ while a seventh wrote: ‘Haris in the bottom 3 after we already know he left? I can’t believe it, I wonder who could be dating.
