Love Island fans complain about having to watch Olivia and Maxwell’s date instead of Movie Night

‘We don’t want to see a *** date!’: Love Island fans complain about airing Olivia and Maxwell’s date instead of highly anticipated Movie Night

Love Island fans have complained about the delay in seeing the highly anticipated Movie Night after it was halted for Olivia and Maxwell’s date day.

On Wednesday night, viewers were eagerly awaiting the drama that comes with Movie Night, as the islanders revisit moments spent in the villa that are often completely unknown to their love interests.

Year after year, couples have argued over what’s in front of them as they eat popcorn at the late-night outdoor movie theater.

Going into the episode, fans were expecting to get a full episode of all the islanders arguing with each other as they gradually work their way through the clips.

But instead, the segment was pushed back to the last 15 minutes of the episode, spending most of the episode watching Olivia’s drama with Kai unfold and then watching her go out on a date with Maxwell.

Earlier, Olivia decided she wanted to call Kai for another talk after his comments about her not being genuine played on her mind.

She took him to the bonfire where things heated up as he grew frustrated over what he considered to be ‘boring’ and unnecessary conversations, insisting that she go ahead and leave him alone.

Her current love interest, Maxwell, whom she brought back to the main villa from Casa Amor, expressed concern about Kai bothering her and wondered why she continually wants answers from him.

After a few tears and a make-up kiss, the couple became more loving each other, and the next day she received a text to say they had a date.

They sat in a wooden living room against the backdrop of the beautiful South African countryside as they reflected on their journey so far, as well as looking forward to future plans and building a relationship.

Liv and Maxwell’s ongoing storyline left fans frustrated, as time passed and Movie Night was still nowhere to be seen.
