Love Island Australia: Anna McEvoy reveals her wedding plans with Michael Staples

Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Michael Staples earlier this month.

And on Wednesday, the 30-year-old took to Instagram to update fans on her wedding plans and if the couple wants kids in the future.

When asked if they plan to have children, Anna said babies are planned “soon.”

Although they haven’t set a wedding date, Anna said she thinks a year to 18 months is a good time for an engagement.

“I always wondered if I would get engaged from a young age. I’ve always thought about what that would look like to me, who the person would be, how it would happen etc. etc. and now I know!’ she wrote.

Anna and Michael announced their engagement on October 5 after a year of dating.

The couple had been enjoying a sun-filled vacation in Canggu, Bali, when he asked the question.

Anna posted photos to Instagram of her resort suite, where Michael had left a message that read “Marry Me Honey.”

‘My absolute best friend and love of my life! YES A MILLION TIMES OVER,” she wrote in the caption.

The engagement could not have happened sooner as Anna recently stated that she had found her charming prince in Michael and called him “The One”.

The influencer talked about her relationship during an Instagram Q&A with fans and made it clear that she was sure he was the only man for her.

She said that although she and Michael had different ideas about what they wanted in the future, they were sure of their love.
