Love Island: All Stars confirms start date for the new series of the show – and viewers won’t have long to wait

Love Island viewers will soon be treated to a new series of the All Stars spin-off as the premiere date for the show has been revealed.

ITV today announced that the start date for the reality dating series is just weeks away, starting on January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

The news was revealed on the show’s Instagram page, alongside a photo of an invitation addressed to ‘dating royalty’.

The white invitation with gold and black lettering read: ‘Dear Islander, as dating king you are cordially invited back to the villa as a Love Island All Star.’

It comes after presenter Maya Jama and ITV were forced to deny claims that the presenter was planning to quit the show.

ITV has denied reports that Maya will resign, with a spokesperson telling MailOnline: ‘We are deeply committed to Maya, a brilliant Love Island host, and we have no plans for a change in presenter.’

It comes after it was revealed that Maya has become a multi-millionaire following the success of her TV career and business ventures.

The TV presenter has published accounts for her company MIJ & Co Entertainment, revealing that assets in the company have risen from £1.37 million to £1.83 million.

The star appears to have doubled her earnings as she has £1.3million in cash in the account in the past three months, but had £618,774 the year before.

Maya split from long-term love, rapper Stormzy, in July, but the bump in her personal life hasn’t stopped her career from reaching new heights.

She was given the full-time role as Love Island’s number one presenter when Laura stepped down.

Since then she has hosted Love Island Games, Love Island All Stars and series 11, which were released in June and July.

Last week, MailOnline revealed that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was the first contestant to sign up for Love Island: All Stars.

The former Love Island winner, 30, who scooped the £50,000 cash prize with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti in 2022, will make a triumphant return to the series in January as she hopes to finally find a long-term partner .

She won over ITV2 viewers during her first appearance on the show, where she and Davide, who famously accused Ekin of being a ‘liar’ and an ‘actress’, became known for their tempestuous romance.

Following their bitter split earlier this year, Ekin starred in Celebrity Big Brother but was branded ‘fake’ by her housemates, with the reality star avoiding the show’s final after an ‘awkward reaction’.

Ekin later admitted she was in “survival mode” and said she was carrying a lot of “baggage” due to her split from Davide, who was accused of being unfaithful several times during their relationship.

But now, by returning to the show that made her name, Ekin hopes to be her own person again and finally find the right man to settle down with.

A TV source told MailOnline: ‘Ekin-Su has been the number one priority for casting producers, they know fans would love to see her return to the villa.

‘She was so iconic during her first appearance on the show and now she’s single again at the perfect time.

‘The deal has been agreed in principle, there are still some details to be sorted out, but there is great hope that she will finally agree to take a second chance at finding long-lasting love in front of the nation.

‘Ekin is also now in her 30s, she’s desperate to meet someone she can settle down with and after seeing it happen with last year’s All Stars winners, she’s got her fingers crossed that she could be next.’

The show, hosted by Maya Jama, returns to screens in January with a line-up of former Islanders including the likes of Gemma Owen already rumored to be joining.

And bosses hope the show will be as successful as last year’s debut, after Love Island was streamed 640 million times following the launch of ITVX two years ago.

Ekin’s career has gone from strength to strength since she rose to fame on the series, with the star being cast in Dancing On Ice, The Traitors US and Celebrity Big Brother.

MailOnline has approached ITV and Ekin’s spokesperson for comment.

Her reputation was tarnished in the aftermath of her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother when she clashed with West End star Layton Williams on spin-off show Late & Live and blamed the show’s editing for her ‘dishonest’ portrayal.

Since her split from Davide, Ekin has been linked to TOWIE star James Argent and Married At First Sight contestant Georges Berthonneau.

Despite reports, Ekin has tried to keep her romantic life private, denying her long-term involvement with anyone.

Speaking to MailOnline last month, she said: ‘I’m 100 per cent single and loving life… I’m 30, flirty and thriving.

‘I can see whoever I want. I can date whoever I want, and it’s my private life, thank you very much.”
