Just a week after the controversial ‘live’ season 4 finale was pushed back for 75 minutes, Amber Pike, 31, who married Matt Barnett at the end of the show’s first season in 2018 and still lives to this day always together, there are no bumps on Instagram.
The former reality star and her husband shared new snaps from their Easter party, where a fan asked who their “favorite couple” was from Season 4.
Pike responded to the comment saying “we’re not watching LIB,” which surprised many of her 1.3 million followers.
The commentator who asked who her favorite couple was said she was surprised to find “the love of your life” on the show, but Pike said, “We’re together DESPITE that show, not because of that show.”
Another fan asked if they “feuded” with the show’s creators since they didn’t appear on the Season 1 reunion show, Pike said, “I told them to stay away from us.”
Another fan called out Pike, who was listed as an “Ex-Tank Mechanic” on the show, for destroying the show.
“But you got to meet Burnett on the show, who saved you from homelessness and student loans… and you obviously seem to have a better life now, but isn’t that because of the show? I don’t know what went on behind the scenes, and I know being on a reality show can be stressful, but you volunteered for it. It’s too convenient for you to suddenly step away from the show now. LIB, the media and audiences behind the show’s popularity have made you what you are today,” the fan said, though Pike clearly disagreed with the fan’s assessment.
“Except that literally NOTHING you said was true,” Pike noted.
The news comes after other former Love Is Blind contestants claimed the show’s producers failed to feed them during the pods.
Season 2 stars Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson revealed to Insider that contestants were deprived of food, water, sleep, and “mental health assistance.”
Cast members claimed to have suffered “emotional breakdowns” as a result of the show’s producers neglecting the contestants.

Controversy: The news comes after other former Love Is Blind contestants Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson claimed the show’s producers withheld food and water from them during the pods
The participants claimed to be filming up to 20 hours a day, and although they were regularly given alcohol, they didn’t get much time to sleep and rarely saw sunlight.
Ruhl claimed she passed out during the pod period — where participants were only in specific rooms — because she hadn’t eaten, slept, and had minimal amounts of water.
When a crew member insisted she take a COVID-19 test, she was immediately rushed back in to film a confessional after testing negative.
Ruhl claimed that producers also ignored her pleas for help with her mental health following a panic attack in Mexico.
“I kept telling them, ‘I don’t trust myself. I’ve tried to kill myself before. I’m having suicidal thoughts. I don’t think I can go through with this,'” she recalled.
The show’s producers, Kinetic Content, released a statement denying the allegations in the report.
‘The well-being of our participants is of paramount importance at Kinetic. We have strict protocols to care for each person before, during and after filming,” the statement said.
Another season 1 contestant, Danielle Drouin, supported the allegations, especially regarding the sleep deprivation.
“The sleep deprivation was real. i feel like they are doing it on purpose because they are trying to break you. They want you to be on your guard,” she said.
