He said, “For me, it’s changed everything. I can walk into anything now and just feel comfortable.”
“I don’t feel like everyone is looking at me from an angle that makes me feel uncomfortable.”
Sam continues: ‘It’s that constant worry: ‘Did you take that picture of me with that side of my face? ‘
“Or if I ever get married, and I hope God please help me if I meet someone.”
“I dread standing to the side at the altar and having to have my nose turned to the side. This action prevents that.”
And when his new nose was revealed to him, Sam was overcome with joy and exclaimed, “Wow, this is incredible, I can’t explain it. This is just the most bizarre thing. I’m so happy, so happy that I feel like I have to celebrate.”
When I contacted Sam eight weeks after the procedure, he spoke candidly about the mental change the physical adjustment had brought about.
He began, “The physical change is just one aspect, and then you come to the other side and there’s the mental aspect of having something that you’ve had a stigma about your whole life.
“I’m 29 now, almost 30, and I know I can live the next 30 or 60 years without that one thing that always scares me.”

He added: ‘I felt like it was holding me back. And I know a lot of people would say, “Oh no, it’s just a nose.” No. Now that I’ve had it done, the way I look physically and mentally, I’m free. It’s an amazing feeling.’
Sam admitted that he used to be afraid of getting married because his nose was visible while he stood sideways at the altar

After its success in the United States – where six seasons have aired – the show is now also airing in the United Kingdom. There, thirty beautiful contestants hope to find a partner and get married during the final episode of the show.
Only the first four episodes of the new series have been released. The remaining episodes will be broadcast on the streaming service on August 14, 21 and 25.
