Love Actually’s Martine McCutcheon flogs McVitie’s in latest sponsorship deal

She got her big break in one of the nation’s favorite Christmas movies of all time, Love Actually.

And 20 years later, Martine McCutcheon is still popular with retailers offering lucrative sponsorship deals for her to advertise or become the face of their brands.

In honor of her Love Actually character, tea lady Natalie, the 46-year-old actress, has partnered with McVitie’s to launch a campaign to restore the declining workplace tradition of taking a daily tea and biscuit break.

It’s the latest in a series of ads the star has promoted – from Flora butter to children’s toys to makeup and fashion.

Last December, Martine proved to be a successful influencer with retailers such as John Lewis, Vodafone and a gift card company playing her iconic role as Natalie to drive sales.

In addition to her sponsorship deals, Martine has also embarked on a modeling career after being signed by Elite modeling agency, which has represented supermodels including Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.

The actress spoke last year about how she turns down most job offers to spend time with her husband Jack McManus, 38, and their son Rafferty, eight.

The former EastEnders actress explained how she won’t have another child to share precious childhood moments with.

“We only have one child and I don’t want to miss anything. I’m not going to get another one to experience those moments with. When jobs come in for myself and Jack, we say, “Family first for us,” she said.

“Rafferty is so precious… we are so lucky to have him. And what’s the point if we’ll never be there to pick up or drop off school?

Martine played barmaid Tiff in EastEnders for four years until the character was hit by a car on New Year’s Eve 1998.
