Louise Thompson enjoyed some family time this week as she headed to Gstaad, Switzerland for a ski vacation with her fiance and 15-month-old son Leo-Hunter.

The former reality star, 32, gave fans a taste of the journey by sharing a plethora of snaps and videos on social media.

Before heading home Thursday, the mother-of-one took to Instagram to explain how blessed she felt, sharing: “I woke up this morning and I was like, damn, I’m lucky to be here.”

She will no doubt be delighted to finally make it abroad, after being devastated in February when she had to cancel a trip to St. Lucia due to being unexpectedly hospitalized.

Louise suffers from PTSD and postpartum anxiety after a near-death birth experience when she welcomed Leo in 2021, spending a month in intensive care after the delivery.

Louise shared a collection of images as she showed off her range of chic outfits for ski vacations and looked stylish in plenty of layered outfits.

She seemed to be in high spirits as she enjoyed some quality time with Leo, as the little guy was in his element in the snowy surroundings.

Beau Ryan even held up his son with one hand as they took a photo together, recreating the famous snap in which he did the same with Louise in his hand.

The whole family even dressed adorably in matching Carhartt beanies as they kept warm in the freezing temperatures.

Writing a grateful caption for her 1.4 million Instagram followers along with the sweet images, Louise shared: “I woke up this morning and I was like dammit I’m lucky to be here.” I have so many blessings. Back home on Thursday, she made sure to document the trip as she carried little Leo through the airport.

Sharing some travel tips for flying with a young child during the 1h40m flight, Louise explained how she kept Leo entertained during the trip.

Advising parents to bring things like stickers, coloring pads, flexible straws, tape and snacks, she added a baby carrier to the list, in case parents need to carry their little one down the aisle.

While another piece of advice read: ‘Check in as much luggage as possible, but bring a stroller and baby bag. Change the diaper before the flight, whatever the weather. Defo reserve seats, Ryan didn’t and we were sandwiched. I always recommend a hallway.

The holidays are a much-needed darling for the family, after Louise’s most recent stint in the hospital, causing them to miss their holidays in St. Lucia.

He did not reveal the exact medical problem, but gave his followers the advice not to take anything for granted.

Taking a photo from his hospital bed, he wrote: “We were supposed to fly to St. Lucia this morning.”

She admitted: “I’m so upset that we can’t go because I really needed some sun and sea.”

Trying valiantly to say positive though, Louise added: “But at the same time I’m VERY grateful that all of this happened on English soil because I have no idea what the outcome would have been abroad.”

Louise has endured a difficult few years after she nearly died during Leo’s birth, spending five weeks in hospital suffering from “serious complications”.

Since then, she has been battling PTSD and postpartum anxiety, admitting during a week in January that she cried up to 20 times.

The star, who previously admitted that she can’t remember the first five months of her son’s life after the trauma he suffered, has been honest with her fans about her daily struggles, revealing at times that the anxiety felt “inexplicable”, but now he is learning. to ‘make sense’.
