Taking to Instagram, the mother-of-one shared a sweet video of her son enjoying bath time, with Louise expressing her joy at being able to spend his special day with him.

Captioning the clip, the TV personality wrote, “I’ve never been so in love in my life. The way he says ‘Claus’. I’ve watched this video at least 100,000 times in the last two weeks.

Tomorrow you turn 3. Wow. And I get to spend it with you. Double wow. I know what’s at the top of my gratitude list.’

It comes after Louise revealed she was ‘sad and a bit confused’ after her fiancé Ryan Gibbey decided to do their podcast solo, despite her terrifying rush to hospital.

She has been in the hospital for two weeks, but Ryan continued with the couple’s podcast He said, she said as he went solo for the recent episode and explained the traumatic ordeal.

Louise took to her Instagram Story to share the podcast and was heartbroken by the clip, as she admitted she wouldn’t listen herself.

She wrote: ‘Just watching this clip broke my heart so I won’t be listening to the pod this week until I’m waaaay recovered and feel so far removed from this challenge.’

She seemed to criticize the decision to continue with the podcast in her absence, adding, “It really makes me sad and a little confused as to why Ryan released a solo EP THIS early in our pod journey had to host, but okay.

“I’m very proud of you for sticking with it and doing it.”

Ryan explained during the episode how he rushed his partner to A&E when she developed painful stomach pains.

He said he had returned from a weekend visit to his family in Devon to find Louise “rolling around in a lot of pain” at the London house where they lived with Leo.

In the early hours of the morning she could no longer cope and Ryan rushed her to the emergency room “and a few hours later she was on the operating table.”

Louise had surgery ‘in the same abdominal area that she has been recovering from since earlier this year with her stoma operation. It was completely unexpected,” Ryan told listeners.

Complications arose and she went into septic shock after the operation, which Ryan said “shows how serious things have become.”

Ryan assured listeners that his fiancée is recovering and is no longer in intensive care, but he admitted that the terrifying ordeal has taken its toll on them both.

Louise also posted an Instagram update on Wednesday, telling her followers: “The world feels like it’s been a little unkind to me again.”

The star shared a photo of Ryan placing a sun balloon at the foot of her bed as she told her followers: ‘It’s World Kindness Day. It feels like the world has been a little unkind to me again.’

She added that she hopes to be home soon, especially since November 15 is her son Leo’s third birthday.

‘Today is a new day. And hopefully that means home,” she continued. ‘I really hate to say it, but I’ve been back to the hospital and felt really bad (I feel like the word ‘bad’ justifies the label of an Onomatopoeia – everything about it looks like older, weak diseases ).’

‘As I say it, I feel like a grandmother blowing bubbles for words. It looks and sounds sick. Like I did. Even though I am also confusingly only 34 and incredibly strong. Mentally and physically STRONG. Even if I say so myself.’

Louise further admitted: ‘I’m almost ashamed at the moment. BUT there is light,” as she thanked the hospital staff and her friends and family for caring for her.

‘Despite the surgery The butt drain The catheter The stoma The Robinsons drains Dreaded pigtail drain Copious cannulas, damn, I wish I’d accepted that photo line Blood tests galore My poor, poor body. I felt a bit like a zombie. There have been beacons of kindness EVERYWHERE.”

‘It was necessary because oh my, it was quite scary to see my body loaded with so many foreign objects. I’m surprised I was even able to withdraw that at some point.’

“I literally had a tail dangling out of me. Sewn in. Basically I felt like an octopus with multiple legs or tubes (turns out a cannula with multiple entry points is also called an octopus). Great minds. Or some great subconscious and memory of me.”

“Ahhh, the joy of heavy, heavy opioids for getting me through the worst of it. Thank goodness for poppies. Thank God for science. Thank God for modern medicine.”

‘Back to the most important thing: kindness. There have been so many people who have been incredibly kind and helped me through it. Like BEYOND KIND.”

‘Angel level of sorts. The kind of people you meet and you think, god, I wish I was as nice as you, because you are next level and go out of your way to help others. You are truly a superstar, a God-given gift.”

‘It’s really remarkable that there are people who are THIS cool. Actually, I don’t mean cool. I mean warm, really warm. Because warm > cool. The world is a better place because of you.’

“My faith in humanity is actually at an all-time high right now.”

“I don’t know how much more she can handle,” he said. “It’s soul-destroying, it takes the wind out of your sails.”

Sam Thompson’s older sister Louise has been dealing with a series of health issues since Leo’s birth in November 2021.

She recently published her book Lucky, which details her health struggles over the past three years.

In early April, she shared the news that she had been fitted with an ostomy bag with her Instagram followers, as she bravely admitted that it was ‘not something she wanted to hide forever’.

The television personality has previously spoken about her ongoing battle with the intestinal condition ulcerative colitis and the autoimmune disease lupus.

Ulcerative colitis is a chronic intestinal condition in which the colon and rectum become inflamed and small ulcers form on the lining of the colon, which may bleed. The condition cannot be cured, but can be managed effectively over time.

What is ulcerative colitis?

Ulcerative colitis is a long-term condition in which the large intestine (the intestine) and rectum become inflamed. It affects around one in 420 people in Britain.

Small ulcers may develop on the lining of the colon, which may bleed and produce pus.

Symptoms include recurrent diarrhea, which may contain blood, mucus, or pus, abdominal pain, and needing to empty your bowels frequently.

People may also experience fatigue, loss of appetite and weight loss.

WHAT CAUSES Ulcerative Colitis?

Ulcerative colitis is thought to be an autoimmune disease, meaning the immune system – the body’s defense against infections – goes wrong and attacks healthy tissue.

The most popular theory is that the immune system mistakes harmless bacteria in the colon for a threat and attacks the tissues of the colon, causing it to become inflamed.

What exactly causes the immune system to behave in this way is unclear. Most experts think it is a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
