Louise Redknapp wowed in a striking purple suit on Thursday as she gave Instagram followers their first look at her new character in Grease The Musical.
The 48-year-old singer, who will play a ‘sassy’ Teen Angel, looked stunning in her winged costume as she prepares to hit the stage at the Dominion Theater in June.
She put on a leggy display in a purple silk blazer dress that flaunted a silver collar neckline and matching sleeves.
Louise added inches to her figure with a pair of shiny silver thigh-high boots and rocked a pair of large purple wings with the costume.
The mother of two boys styled her long golden locks in a high ponytail with a pink strand highlighted through it.

She accessorized the look with a pair of large hoop earrings and several layered silver necklaces.
Revealing her character, Louise wrote: ‘Meet…Teen Angel!
“I’m excited to join the West End cast of @greasewestend for a limited time at the Dominion Theater from June 2nd! Tickets available now xxx’.
She said that she is putting her own spin on the originally male role of Teen Angel, which she revealed will be “daring”.
Speaking at Steph’s Packed Lunch earlier this year, Louise said: “I’m doing Grease and my mum said, ‘You’ll make a lovely Sandy,’ I said, ‘Mummy Sandy’s in high school, I’m not playing with her.
‘Teen angel has always been played by a boy, I thought it was interesting how different roles and different opportunities come up.
“I’m going to play as a JLO in Vegas as daring as you can!”
Speaking about his upcoming gig, he also told MailOnline: ‘Doing Grease is great fun. I’m going to camp properly. I love how they break with tradition and have a woman play the role of Teen Angel.

‘Now I can do this because my children are older, so I don’t feel bad about leaving them. I am very excited for this year.
“I’m going to have the most fun and work hard and then in the summer I’m going to take the kids.”
The singer is the mother of Charley, 18, and Beau, 14, whom she shares with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 49.
Louise, who rose to fame as a member of the girl group Eternal, will also release her Greatest Hits album in June.
