Louise Redknapp has opened up about her dating life, saying she’s “open” to meeting someone, even if dating isn’t her number one priority.
The former Eternal bandmate, 48, was married to former footballer Jamie Redknapp for 19 years before they split in 2017.
She previously shared that she hasn’t dated since her divorce from Jamie, 49, and now Louise has said it’s not at the top of her priority list.
The mother-of-two insisted she doesn’t use dating apps and said she’s not “actively” looking for a partner, but admitted she’s “open” to meeting someone.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I’m just open to what can happen, I’m not actively looking, it’s not my main goal in life.

“But if it goes like this and I meet someone who swept me off my socks and was amazing and nice and awesome I would be so open to looking into that but no I don’t download apps well not on the minute.’
Louise said she wouldn’t just date someone ‘for it’ and insisted she’d be open about her love life if she met the right person.
She added, “If I met that amazing person I would never hide it, if they’re right they’re right, and I’d be the first to embrace it and share it.”
Louise and former footballer Jamie separated in 2017 after 19 years of marriage. The couple share sons Charley, 18, and Beau, 14.
Sports pundit Jamie married model Frida Andersson, 38, in October 2021, and the couple welcomed their first child, son Raphael, together the following month.
Frida and Jamie share seven children together, with the model also being the mother of four with her ex-husband, US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.
Last summer, Louise opened up about how her ex’s new marriage affected their two sons when she talked about how she had “kept up” dating.
In a conversation with HELLO! confessed to Louise that they have broken up and that Jamie’s new marriage has had a lasting impact on their sons.
“I’ve felt this as a mom and, to put this in the most respectful way, my boys’ lives changed dramatically and then it changed again when Jamie obviously got married and had a family,” she explained.

Explaining why she hasn’t dated lately, Louise said, “Their lives changed and I felt like I had to be their one staple.”
Louise rose to fame as a member of girl band Eternal after they released their debut album Always & Forever in 1994.
She went on to a solo career that saw her sell five million records in the UK and 15 million worldwide.
It comes on the heels of the news that Louise and Olly Murs will lead the stars playing at Flackstock festival 2023 in tribute to their late friend Caroline Flack.
The festival is back for a second year with a host of celebrities joining forces to raise money for four charities close to Caroline’s heart.
