An Aussie guy says he will keep working despite winning $2.5 million in the most recent Lotto draw on Saturday.
The lottery ticket was purchased from Here’s Luck Lottery Center in Cloverdale, Western Australia and matched the winning numbers for a Division One prize of over $2.5 million.
The winner, a man in his 60s, said he sat down for his Sunday morning coffee and decided to check his ticket, realizing that line 10 contained all six of the winning numbers.
“I checked the ticket about 300 times to make sure the numbers didn’t change,” the cardholder said.
“Now I know it’s not a joke or a dream,” he added.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said there was more good news with a Lotto victory on Monday, bringing the number of Western Australian Division One winners to 43 this year.

“Over $130 million in Division One prizes have been won by West Aussies this year, with another $130 million up for grabs this week thanks to Powerball and Saturday Lotto.”
Powerball has hit a $100 million jackpot for Thursday’s draw.
While the Saturday Lottos hit a $30 million Megadraw for the weekend.
Tickets are available in store, online and via the app before 6pm on the draw day.
