Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Ronnie Rivers wins a $514,837 jackpot playing three card poker in Las Vegas… just $833 less than the amount he won in his first NFL season!

Los Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers won $514,837 in Las Vegas while playing three-card poker, almost as much money as his NFL salary.

The undrafted rookie made $515,670 during the 2022 season after toggling between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks, before ultimately ending up with the Rams. He was promoted from the practice squad to the main roster in November.

He got lucky over the weekend when he shared his success at Caesars Palace on his Instagram Story, earning just $833 less than he did in his first NFL season.

Rivers, who was seen celebrating in the social media clip, will earn $870,000 if he is still on the roster for the entire 2023 season.

Rivers appeared in just eight games for the Rams and rushed for 21 yards on nine carries, while gaining 29 receiving yards on five receptions.

During his senior year he rushed for just 788 yards on 162 carries, while playing in 11 games.

Rivers was in Las Vegas to celebrate his mother’s birthday and intends to use the proceeds to buy her a house, reports KTNV.

The Rams finished the season with a 5-12 record and it looks like they will undergo several changes this offseason.

They already hired Mike LaFleur as offensive coordinator and John Becton as the new offensive line coach after both were released by the New York Jets.
