Rosie, who studied journalism at Edinburgh Napier University, told The Tab: ‘I don’t really see my mother as an inspiration. I mean, she’s not the reason I study journalism.

‘My father is a cameraman, which is actually how my parents met, while my uncle is in advertising and grandfather also worked in the television industry. So I guess it runs in the family.

‘I had no idea what I wanted to do at university, but my family knew a lot about journalism and media. I also see it as fun and not as work, which is important.’

“I still haven’t decided exactly what I want to do,” she added in 2015.
