Fans are speculating that after a long hiatus from music, Lorde will soon release a new album featuring some exciting collaborations.

And the Kiwi singer, 26, smashed her set at Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary, on Monday.

She was one of the first acts to perform for the five-day festival, performing for headliner Macklemore on the first day of the event.

The Royals singer looked at ease on stage as she donned a maroon crop top with long sleeves that showed off her toned torso, a navy blue miniskirt with a silver draped belt and black sandals.

The 26-year-old kept her long blonde locks in a loose wave as she waved them around while on stage.

She opted for a full-glam makeup look with white eyeshadow, black eyeliner and a nude lip.

The standout song from Lorde’s set was Green Light, as fans went wild when she brought out American singer Caroline Polachek to perform it with her.

The musicians hugged and held hands as they had fun jumping around the stage while performing the up-beat song.

Caroline matched Lorde’s look by also wearing a miniskirt.

She looked comfortable yet stylish in a blue crop top, black miniskirt, black knee highs and loafers.

Following the iconic performance, Lorde shared two unreleased songs and then broke her social media silence.

This led many fans to speculate that she is releasing a new album and Caroline might be working with her.

Last Friday, she shared a carousel of beautiful photos on Instagram of her swimming after a performance in Norway.

However, the Buzzcut Season singer already foresaw that her fans would think there was some hidden meaning in the photos.

She wrote: ‘After the show we went for a swim.. these times are beautiful and they drive me crazy and there is so much to tell.

“No, this isn’t the start of anything out there, I just want to let you know there’s a light burning inside of me…let’s see it soon.”
