Loose Women’s Linda Robson jets off on solo holiday to Mallorca ‘as she suffers marriage crisis’

Linda Robson has revealed she recently flew to Mallorca on a solo holiday amid reports of a ‘crisis’ in her marriage to husband Mark Dunford.

The Loose Women star, 64, was part of the panel on Friday’s episode of the ITV show, telling her co-hosts how she recently went to Spain on her own.

Kaye Adams told Linda she looked great and fresh, to which she replied, ‘I went to Majorca for a few days.

‘Because [her daughter] Lauren took the girls and her husband to Tenerife, I hinted a few times that I could come, and they made it very clear I was not welcome.

‘I got the right bump so I booked a flight to Mallorca, on my own, it was lovely. Really, really, delicious.

“The only one I missed was the dog that had to stay at home.”

Nadia Sawalha then agreed to say she wasn’t sure if she would be able to enjoy herself on a solo holiday.

But Linda insisted there was nothing to fear, saying, “You can do whatever you want, go to any restaurant, go to bed whenever you want.”

It comes after the Birds of a Feather actress reportedly told friends that she is going through a marital crisis with Mark.

The couple, who married in 1990, live together in London, but it has been reported in recent weeks that they have been having relationship problems.

A source told The sun on Sunday: ‘Linda has been quite open behind the scenes about problems in her marriage.

“They had a rough patch before Christmas, but they managed to get through it.

“Linda turned to her family and close friends who supported her through it all.”

The actress recently spoke about “ups and downs” in her relationship.

She reportedly told Best magazine, “There have been ups and downs, of course, like any couple. What I think we have in common is that we love our children more than anything else.”

Linda and Mark share children Louis, 31, and Roberta, 27. Linda also has daughter Lauren, 40, with her ex Tony Tyler.

Linda – who previously spoke out about some rough years she’d been through with Mark – previously recalled in Loose Women the pain she went through after being cheated on by two former partners.

The show’s panel discussed how Emmerdale actress Amy Nuttall became suspicious of husband Andrew Buchan before he left her for fellow Better cast member Leila Farzad.

Linda – who previously claimed she never undressed in front of husband Mark – said: ‘It’s intuition, it’s happened to me twice.

“Two partners cheated on me, and both times I knew something was wrong in the relationship and I confronted them about it and they always denied it.

“Until finally one of their friends or one of your friends says, “Do you know this is happening behind your back?”

Linda also spoke earlier about heartbreak when her ex-partner of 11 years Tony Tyler cheated on her.

She told the Loose Women audience in 2017, “I caught my ex cheating several times — even when I was pregnant with Lauren.

“One time I was out and Lauren was out with me. When I returned, everything seemed fine in the flat.

“But when I went to bed that night, I moved the pillow and there was a tissue with lipstick on it, and long blonde hair.

“I remember saying to my ex “what is this?”, and he said, “one of my friends stayed and her partner, it must be hers.” But do you know when you know?’

She explained how she was doing her own detective work while determined to find out what was going on.

Linda said, “When I found out it was a relief because knowing it’s over doesn’t make you crazy.”

The star continued, “I had found letters, I followed him.

“I caught him with someone while I was also pregnant with Lauren.

“I waited outside the house and he entered this girl’s house.”
