She added: ‘I can honestly say it scares me a little bit because normally the audience is a blur from up here unless I put my glasses on. I can see the teleprompter.

It comes after she teased a new look during Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women, after the panel joked she would ‘undergo a transformation’ in the ad break

Denise gave a sneak peek at her new look on Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women, after the panel joked during the commercial break that she was ‘going to undergo a transformation’.

Together with its presenters Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards, they discussed the experiences of women with thinning hair.

Ruth explained that she gets hair extensions to make her hair thicker and often wondered if she shouldn’t leave it long.

Denise shared her thoughts and said that she thought older women didn’t like long hair, which prompted her to make a transformation herself.

As promised, she returned to the studio after the break wearing a long blonde wig, much to the hilarity of her fellow actors.
