Portelli’s appearance on the streets is just the latest in a string of scandals rocking the Channel Nine hit franchise.
Residents living around ‘The Block’ were recently upset after a makeshift McCafe across the street suddenly stopped serving free coffee.
The McDonald’s McCafe is built on the front porch of a house directly across the street from the houses being renovated for the series.
The stall had been there for seven weeks, handing out free drinks to merchants and residents alike – until last week when the Macca’s benevolence suddenly ended with the neighbours.
