Logie Awards 2023: Channel Seven confirms Chris Brown and Sonia Kruger will host the star-studded red carpet

Channel Seven has confirmed that Dr. Chris Brown on the network on July 30 will host the Logie Awards red carpet alongside Sonia Kruger.

This TV appearance will be Brown’s first on the network and sets the stage for an exciting debut after announcing his departure from Channel 10 earlier this year.

As a pre-show to the main event, hosted by comedian Sam Pang, the red carpet promises an evening of glitz, glamor and unforgettable moments.

Sonia expressed her elation at the news, saying, ‘I want to thank the Seven Network for this early Christmas present. I couldn’t be happier working with Chris.’

“With my brains and the beauty of Chris, this red carpet show is going to be fresh, fun, unpredictable, and bigger than ever.

She continued, “It’s going to be one of the best nights ever for both the television industry and viewers at home. I can not wait.’

Her co-host, Chris, echoed her enthusiasm by saying, “Sonia is the Logies.”

“Naturally funny, fearless, flawless and a party animal… I really can’t wait to work with her on the red carpet show,” he added.

“There is a real excitement around the Logies being unpredictable this year. However, luring Sam Pang off the green of the local golf course to host is the wildest swing of all. I really can’t wait!’

Seven also announced the star-studded roster of celebrity presenters.

Abbie Chatfield, Alan Fletcher, Celeste Barber, Colin Fassnidge, Emma Hamilton, Grant Denyer, Joel Creasey, Kat Stewart, Kyle Sandilands, Kylie Gillies, Larry Emdur and Lincoln Younes will all take the stage.

Just like Home and Away’s Lynne McGranger, Mark Coles Smith, Marta Dusseldorp, Matt Shirvington, Mick Molloy, Natalie Barr, Osher Günsberg, Poh Ling Yeow, Rodger Corser, Samantha Armytage, Sophie Monk, Stephen Peacocke and Tony Armstrong.

This year’s awards will take place in Sydney for the first time in 37 years on July 30.
