Gold Logie nominee Julia, 55, looked stunning in the strapless gown, which featured a bold thigh-high slit and sheer beaded sleeves.
She opted for a less is more makeup palette and wore her close-cropped dark brown locks in a stylish blowout.

Her red carpet appearance came just hours after her telling interview about the breakup of her marriage was published in Stellar magazine.
Julia, who was married to Dan for 16 years, told the publication that their divorce was a long time coming.
“Let’s just say I wasn’t married to the person I thought I was,” Julia explained.
“I became an Olympic medalist by knocking him down. But to be honest, I’ve been trying to stop doing that because I don’t want to let him into my life at all. I am available.

“Unfortunately, my eyes have been opened and I’ve had a great awakening about pleasing my people and what I will tolerate and how I see the best in people — and that’s not always the truth.”
The TV presenter announced her divorce in May last year.
“I have been known to say that every year I feel like we are breaking up. But it definitely gets to the same point, which is that we’re not necessarily growing in the same direction,” Julia told The Australian Women’s Weekly.

She explained how she came to see her husband as a “tease” as their relationship became more broken.
While Julia described her broken up marriage as “super sad,” she was determined to set an example for their daughters Ruby, 16, and Sophie, 14, and not settle for an unhappy relationship.
“I think that’s where patience starts to wear off, ‘I don’t live like that. How is this an example to my girls that this is a good life to live? No thanks,’ she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Julia revealed how she’s learned to manage the household chores her husband used to do, including taking care of her finances.
She has also become more familiar with the internet.
“Now I have to download permission forms from school. And I’ve never worked in an office before – I taught myself all those things,’ she boasted.
It comes after Julia announced she was “no longer interested in sex” following her divorce.
Speaking to The Kyle and Jackie O Show last October, Julia insisted, “I think I’m going to shut up. I’m done with carrots.’
A shocked Sandilands then asked her if she at least “handles things” herself.
She admitted that she enjoys herself “sometimes…when I can be bothered.”
She said “self-care” isn’t a priority for her because she’s too busy, adding, “Who has time? I have laundry to do!’
