Logan Reserve, Brisbane: Shocking road rage incident caught on film

A woman was injured after a man smashed a car window during a terrifying road crash south of Brisbane on Tuesday.

Police were called to Chambers Flat Road in Logan Reserve around 3pm on Tuesday to reports that a man had approached a car stopped at a red light and smashed the rear window with his hand.

A woman in her 30s was in the backseat and suffered minor cuts to her face. There was also a baby in the back of the car, but was not injured.

The woman was checked at the scene by ambulance personnel, but refused further treatment.

Police say the 37-year-old male driver was not injured and was able to drive away from the man before any more damage was caused.

The man is said to have left the scene of the accident in another car before police arrived.

Witnesses told Nine News the woman had a young child with her, one of whom said he saw the man banging on the window of the car and saying, “Go away, go away.”

“The lady in the back got out and had blood all over her face,” he said.

As of Wednesday morning, a man is in custody in Beaudesert and the investigation continues.
