WWE superstar Logan Paul has canceled his match in Perth after a security review.

The American star, 27, was due to meet fans on Saturday, February 11 at the Midvale Central shopping mall, but organizers have now called off the engagement amid “security” concerns.

“After a safety and security review and with the advice of WA Police, our security providers and the City of Swan, we are not satisfied with the public safety interests of this event occurring in the mall car park. Midvale Central on Saturday, February 11.’ a Woolworths spokesperson said in a statement late Thursday.

“We know this is disappointing for PRIME beverage customers and fans, however, public safety must come first,” they added.

They went on to quash any talk of an event happening at Town Hall Woolworths in Sydney on February 13, saying: “There is no event planned.”

“Again, we would like to reiterate that there is no PRIME activity planned in any Woolworths stores before the drinks are available exclusively in our stores later this month,” they concluded.

Paul is a huge social media star with 24.9 million followers on Instagram, where he describes himself as “artist, boxer, fighter.”

The cancellation comes after influencer Anna Paul (no relation) shut down her meet and greet in Perth in August last year.

Police were forced to shut down the event featuring the influencer, described as Australia’s Kim Kardashian, after rowdy fans stormed the mall where she appeared, causing a crushing crowd.

Hundreds of teenagers flocked to a Stax pop-up store in Perth’s CBD for a chance to see the 23-year-old influencer.

As the number of people got out of control, the police intervened and canceled the event just 15 minutes after it started.

Stax issued an apology for the cancellation which sparked outrage from devastated fans who got lost and others caught up in the crush.

Anna released a statement on Instagram just after noon saying the police ordered the organizers to shut down the event due to crowd control issues.

“Due to security, Western Australia Police had to close the Perth meet and greet early,” he wrote.

“He became a huge security hazard…thank you for being awesome…I’m so sorry we went out of our way to work with the police, but it was too much.”
