Logan Paul stoops low in face-to-face with Dillon Danis as the WWE star mentions the death of opponent’s dad, claiming that attack on Nina Agdal is part of ‘Twitter group therapy’… with the MMA star questioning why Paul won’t face him in the Octagon

  • Danis targeted Agdal, who has been granted a temporary restraining order
  • Paul mentioned the death of Danis’ father, who passed away last year

Logan Paul took a deep dive during his press conference with Dillon Danis ahead of their Oct. 14 fight, mentioning the death of the MMA star’s father while accusing his opponent of “turning to alcohol” as they traded insults.

Danis, who has been heavily criticized for his role in the pre-fight promotion, launched an attack on Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal.

The MMA fighter regularly targeted Agdal on Twitter, which led to Danis receiving a temporary restraining order.

Paul was given a chance to hit back at his opponent but stooped low in the pair’s confrontation when he brought up the death of Danis’ father as they traded insults.

He said, “Your life has been going downhill since you got kicked out of Marcelo’s gym. You started drinking alcohol and tried to drown it all out, your father died, you lost friends.’

The YouTuber and WWE star continued to tell his opponent that he sympathizes with him and believes his outburst on X, formerly known as Twitter, is like “group therapy.”

“I sympathize with you, Dillon, because I understand that Twitter is like a group therapy session for you,” Paul said. ‘You get a feeling of validation.

“If that feels like the empty voids in your heart, I sympathize with you.”

This led to Danis hitting back at Paul for bringing up the death of his father, who passed away last year.

“Talk about that, see what happens, say you’re not an asshole and talk about my dad dying,” Danis repeated.

The argument flared further when Paul threatened to tear Dani ‘limb by limb’, before the MMA star questioned why his opponent refuses to fight him in the Octagon.

“I will tear you limb from limb,” Paul threatened. ‘You won’t be able to breathe anymore. I will rearrange your entire body.”

Danis quickly responded and challenged Paul to accept an MMA fight, saying, “So why are we doing a boxing fight?” It’s not even a real competition. It’s like half a fight. I would kill you, brother (in MMA).”

However, Paul dismissed claims that Danis would beat him in an MMA fight, saying: ‘The four-time world champion was the old Dillon. You have changed.’

After dismissing Danis’ threat in the Octagon, Paul shuffled the terms for an MMA fight after the pair faced off in the squared circle next month.

They will get the chance to settle their differences when they enter the ring as the co-main event alongside KSI vs Tommy Fury in Manchester next month.
