‘Living Nostradamus’ reveals his terrifying predictions for 2025 and says the world is at its most critical crossroads ever
A psychic who successfully predicted numerous global events in 2024 has now revealed what awaits in 2025.
Athos Salomé, 38, from Brazil, who is often called the ‘living Nostradamus’, has previously seen a number of predictions come true. He predicted the coronavirus pandemic, Queen Elizabeth’s death and Microsoft’s global outage.
Now the psychic warns that 2025 will be the year when “humanity may lose control of technology.”
Salomé said the coming year will be one of radical innovation, but also of unprecedented challenges.
With the rise of artificial intelligence, quantum computers and medical advances, he believes, the world could be on the brink of revolutionary progress – or looming catastrophe.
In conversation with Femail, Salomé says that 2025 will be the turning point. On the one hand – the scientific potential can provide people with efficient tools to solve many problems, on the other hand – we will see the perspective of using technology ‘without any idea’.
He added: ‘It will also include answers to key questions important for the year ahead. Are we building progress into the future or are we allowing ourselves to enter a world of confusion?
“It appears the world is now at what could prove to be the most critical crossroads ever.”

Generalist AI: Genius or uncontrolled risk?
Salomé predicts that 2025 will be the year in which artificial intelligence will reach unimaginable levels.
He said: ‘Advanced systems will be able to operate in multiple domains simultaneously and mimic human reasoning.
‘An AI can design buildings, plan advertising campaigns and diagnose diseases in seconds. But because we hand over so much power to machines, the question becomes: what happens when we lose control?’
Quantum Computing: a revolution with the potential for chaos
Salomé said: ‘Quantum computing, previously limited to experimental laboratories, could soon solve practical problems.
‘Modelling modules for new medicines? Possibly. Breaking global digital security systems? Menacing.’
Salomé also warned that governments, banks and institutions could face an unprecedented cyber crisis.
Brain-Machine Connections: Progress or Privacy Breach?
He said: ‘Imagine a future where human brains can connect directly to artificial intelligence.
‘This technology could treat neurological diseases, but it also poses a terrifying risk: mental invasion and manipulation of thoughts.
“Are we ready to give up the last bastion of privacy: our minds?”

Implantable technologies: control or freedom?
Salomé said: ‘Implantable chips are becoming popular. These devices monitor health, connect users to the internet, and potentially enable real-time tracking.
‘For many this sounds liberating; for others it is the harbinger of a world in which we are constantly watched.’
Digital currency and the end of physical money
Salomé predicts that government digital currencies will consolidate by 2025.
He explained: ‘Transactions will be fast but fully traceable, raising serious privacy concerns.
‘Governments will have absolute control over digital money, being able to freeze accounts or monitor every purchase.’
Cyber weapons: the new battlefield
Salomé warns of an increase in cyber attacks, which could paralyze electricity grids, hospitals and banking systems.
He said: ‘In a polarized global scenario, these weapons could become the main instruments of conflict between powers.’
Space Exploration: The Year of the UFO Truth?
Salomé said: ‘Thanks to the James Webb telescope, humanity could finally get the answer to the existence of extraterrestrial life, while governments like the US can release UFO files.
“If true, these discoveries could revolutionize one’s view of the universe in which we exist – and of ourselves.”
Nuclear fusion and climate disasters
He said, “It’s never far beyond the horizon; the new idea of clean, unlimited energy – nuclear fusion.’
But Salomé also draws attention to the fact that global warming poses problems such as the melting of the Arctic, which releases methane in “catastrophic quantities” and increases the climate crisis.
Popular movements: takeover against technological control
He explained: ‘These moves could push governments to reconsider certain policies and give people more personal freedoms.’
