Liverpool youngster Ben Doak caused worrying scenes in Liverpool’s latest UEFA Youth League game after collapsing on the pitch.

Doak, 17, fell to the ground after jumping for a headbutt with a Sporting player who initially managed to stay on his feet.

Medics rushed onto the pitch to help the Liverpool man when play was stopped by the referee.

He eventually managed to get back on his feet, but was promptly substituted.

The event came eight minutes into the game, in which Rodrigo Ribeiro scored the opening goal of the game after 65 minutes.
