Liverpool plan talks with Brighton World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister as Jurgen Klopp’s rebuild begins in the summer… with Ryan Gravenberch, out of favor with Bayern Munich, another target
Liverpool held a recruitment meeting at their Fitzrovia offices in London last week where they gathered information on transfer targets.
Talks are expected soon with Alexis Mac Allister, the Argentine World Cup winner from Brighton.
But as one agent said, “Brighton wants bingo numbers for Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo this summer and we’re not talking about ‘two little ducklings.’
The Anfield club polled Ryan Gravenberch’s representatives last weekend about a possible transfer from Bayern Munich.
The Germans, now willing to sell Sadio Mane, are wary of losing Gravenberch and reject overtures from other clubs in January, but the 20-year-old Dutch midfielder is dissatisfied with his playing time.
He only joined from Ajax last summer in a £20 million deal, but has started just one Bundesliga and two Champions League games for Bayern so far.
Gravenberch played in a total of 27 games, but almost always off the bench.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is planning an extensive summer reconstruction
He was one of the most sought-after talents in Europe when he arrived at Ajax, and Bayern grabbed his signature last year.
He has also been captured by the Netherlands, but missed a place in their World Cup selection last year.
Liverpool are expected to revamp their squad this summer, particularly in midfield, and have been linked with the likes of Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount.
Liverpool’s rebuilding came after they decided to spend big money again to sign English star Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
