Klopp will certainly have an important and emotional farewell at Anfield, having etched himself into Liverpool history as one of the club’s best managers.

In nine memorable years at Anfield, Klopp became the first manager in the club’s history to win the Premier League, European Cup, FA Cup and League Cup.

He also won the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

His prize harvest would have been greater than seven without Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City as a formidable competitor.

Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers as manager on October 8, 2015, and this afternoon’s match with Wolves will be his 489th game in charge of the Reds.

The outgoing Liverpool boss is aiming for a 304th and final win in his time in charge.

Liverpool are guaranteed to finish third in the Premier League this season after seeing their title challenge fall away in recent weeks.

Ahead of his final game against the Reds, Klopp outlined his plans for the coming months as he finally has some time away from the game.

“Holiday,” he told Liverpool’s official website. ‘(The) Champions League final with Dortmund, I’ve been invited, so we’ll look at that.

‘It’s not like I’ve tried much (to go on holiday before), so I didn’t have time. I had time, but a summer holiday for me, at least at the end of the season, was like falling on the first available sunbed and having a telephone here and talking to agents, sports directors, that kind of thing.

‘Yes, there were no training sessions, but the rest pretty much continued as usual. So that means that I have seen one percent of the world for a reason.

‘Now we are not going to do anything, we will watch the European Championships here and there, I am really looking forward to that and then do nothing for a holiday and then the plan is to travel and we will see how that goes.’

Klopp plans to spend more time with his wife Ulla, with the couple reportedly splitting their commitments between their villa in Mallorca and at home in Germany.

The 56-year-old went on to explain that he is simply looking forward to getting back to living normally and fulfilling his family roles.

“One hundred percent (I look forward to being a husband, father and grandfather),” he added.

“I can’t wait to be that. It’s okay. What I said: I can’t wait for life, for life after the career and now let’s see what that means for me.

‘People ask me: “What are you going to do?” I just do not know. I’ve never had it before, so let’s give it a try and I’ll tell you.’
