Liverpool fans are concerned that Trent Alexander-Arnold has fallen out with new manager Arne Slot.
Alexander-Arnold looked frustrated when he was substituted in the 72nd minute of Liverpool’s 2-0 home win over Brentford. The right-back had also been substituted against Ipswich Town last week.
With Alexander-Arnold entering the final year of his contract, there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding his future at Liverpool.
There are rumours that the 25-year-old could join Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.
Despite the win, Alexander-Arnold also looked gloomy after the match.

One fan claimed that Alexander-Arnold needs to ‘grow up’. They wrote: ‘Trent needs to grow up, great team performance and has a boss game, why put a damper on it by sulking as the lock is clearly saving his legs after a solid performance.’
Another added: ‘It doesn’t seem like Trent is the biggest fan of Slots.’
Meanwhile, another fan declared Alexander-Arnold’s reaction ‘childish’. They wrote: ‘Completely and utterly childish reaction from Trent here, too much hanging around Bellingham, Slot took him off as an injury precaution in a game that was dead and buried.
“Why is he throwing his toys out of the stroller? It’s really embarrassing.”
Another fan wrote that Slot wanted to ‘push Trent to Real Madrid’.
Additionally, another fan said, “I love you Trent, but there is no reason to act like this man.”
Another fan commented on the situation: ‘Jokes aside, are you worried about Trent’s attitude here or is it to be expected that he will want to play the whole game?
‘The rumours about Madrid were a bit worrying at the time as there was no contract signed yet, but he was top class today.’
Another fan wrote: ‘Trent is not happy and I am 100% sure he is thinking about that Real Madrid transfer. Slot is no longer the loving, caring father figure that Klopp once was and our players need to adapt to that attitude. Let’s hope for the best.’
