Liverpool have confirmed the departure of ten players after announcing their retained list ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The upcoming campaign will be one of change for the Merseyside giants as Arne Slot takes on the role of first-team coach following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.
And along with the off-field staff, there will be plenty of changes on the pitch, with the club having confirmed the departure of a number of players, most from the academy.
Last month, the Reds confirmed the news that first-team stars Thiago and Joel Matip would leave following the expiry of their contracts.
Now the Merseyside giants have revealed eight more names who will join them, including a youngster dubbed the ‘Polish Messi’.

Along with the aforementioned duo, Adam Lewis, Melkamu Frauendorf, Mateusz Musialowski, Nathan Giblin, Francis Gyimah, Luke Hewitson, Niall Osborne and Cody Pennington will all leave the club.
In addition to a number of notable departures, the club confirmed that first-team goalkeeper Adrian has been given a new contract, as have academy keepers Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman.
In January, Mail Sport revealed that Musialowski – nicknamed the ‘Polish Messi’ – was a target for Birmingham City.
Musialowski saw a move to Austrian side TSV Hartberg fall through this summer, but other clubs have taken note of his performances in Liverpool’s youth squad.
The Reds confirmed earlier this month that first-team duo Thiago and Matip would leave at the end of the season.
Spain international Thiago is leaving at the expiry of his current contract, having spent four successful years on Merseyside since joining from Bayern Munich in 2020.
The 33-year-old has won an FA Cup and the Community Shield during his time at the club, having made 98 appearances for the Reds.
Meanwhile, Matip, who joined the Reds from German side Schalke in 2016, is set to start a new chapter in his career following his successful time at Liverpool.
In a statement on their website, the defender said goodbye with an emotional message: ‘It has been eight wonderful years here at Liverpool.
