Chiesa is available and could strengthen Arne Slot’s squad before the transfer deadline
Chiesa is not part of Thiago Motta’s project in Turin and Juventus are actively seeking solutions for the Italy international as they want to sell him.
The 26-year-old player only has one year left on his contract and is unlikely to receive a large fee.
He was reportedly in talks over a move to Barcelona after being left out of Juventus’ squad for their final three pre-season friendlies earlier this month.
Chiesa left Fiorentina for the Old Lady in the summer of 2022 for a fee of over £40m. He spent the previous two seasons there on loan.
He scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 37 games last season and was part of the Italian squad that was eliminated from Euro 2024 in the round of 16.
But after Chiesa was one of a number of first-team players left out by Motta, he is now expected to leave in the coming days.
