If you ever needed an example of Brighton’s courage and determination to do things their own way, just look at the 31-year-old manager they have appointed in Fabian Hurzeler.

The German is the youngest ever permanent manager in the Premier League, having made his move after winning promotion to the Bundesliga with St. Pauli last season.

He could hardly have wished for a better start on the south coast, beating Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park to get the Seagulls off to a flying start.

In the latest episode of It’s All Kicking Off!, Ian Ladyman asks Chris Sutton: how would you like to play for such a young boss?

Brighton have put a lot of faith in Fabian Hurzeler after making him the youngest ever permanent manager in the Premier League at the age of 31

Sutton talks about what players look for in a manager and how important their age and experience are.
