LISTEN as son calls podcast to report adoptive rabbi father’s sexual abuse

The terrified cry for help from the 17-year-old son of a famous TikTok ‘rabbi’ now accused of child abuse can be revealed today in audio recordings of the podcast he called for advice.

Hayim Nissim Cohen, 38, is in custody in Texas on 13 counts of sexual abuse of at least six of his nine children. Cohen paraded his children, all of whom are adopted, on social media and built a brand out of his Orthodox Jewish life.

Behind the scenes, he was allegedly raping his children and forcing them to perform sexual acts on each other.

It’s not the first time he’s been arrested on suspicion of child sexual abuse: he was arrested in 2019 after another child called police, but was released on bail because prosecutors “couldn’t prove” the claims.

On January 30, Cohen’s petrified son, who was 17 but turned 18, called the Blind Skin Beauty YouTube podcast.

“It’s happened multiple times, this has been going on since I was 11 years old,” she said quietly as she asked the podcast hosts for help and advice.

He described how his father would force the children into his bedroom to “watch TV” at night.

“Then it would happen,” he said quietly.

Hayim Nassim Cohen, 38, is accused of sexually abusing six of his nine children. One of them called a podcast on January 30 to report the abuse.

The podcast host, Twaiyah Paynes, called CPS and police, and they were able to trace him using the burner phone he had used to make the call.

He also told the hosts that he was too scared to call the police because he feared he would be arrested for lying years before to protect his father from similar accusations.

The boy, whom DailyMail.com is not naming, was too scared to give his exact location or name.

The podcast host, Twaiyah Paynes, called CPS and police, and they were able to trace him using the burner phone he had used to make the call.

Cohen, 38, is also charged with misrepresenting his Jewish heritage.

Cohen was later arrested and is now in custody.

During his 40-minute call with Paynes and his co-hosts, the boy described some of the abuse, but wrote down the most egregious allegations.

He said he told the hosts that his “number one fear” was that he would be “accused of lying and helping” because he “kept it a secret.”

Some of his siblings were “cognitively impaired,” he said, which meant they were discredited every time an accusation was made.

Shockingly, he claimed that eight separate complaints had been made to CPS against his father, but that he defeated them each time.

CPS has repeatedly refused to confirm how many times Cohen was reported to them before his arrest.

“The problem here is that it’s essentially my word against all my brothers,” he said, explaining that some of them weren’t ready to turn on their father.

‘As far as CPS investigations are concerned, eight have been launched, but all have been cleared. Since we were little, since we come from cps, we had very evident cognitive problems.

“Specifically three of my brothers and they’re all on psychotic medications…you can see where this is going,” he said.

He added that his father has a ‘doctor friend’ who gave them medicine.

“Every time we do a CPS investigation, we get bribed or scared. Two of my brothers are seven and eight.

It remains a mystery how Cohen was able to adopt so many children and continue to care for them even after being accused of sexually abusing a child in 2019.

The family home in Houston, Texas. Six of the minor children who lived with him are now in foster care.

I’m about to turn 18 and I don’t know what I’m going to do. I don’t care where I’m going, I’m traveling to Israel… [but] all my brothers are here,’ he said.

The boy said that his father took control of the money he received and did not allow either of them to have their own phone.

“I’m smart enough to use a burner phone…he doesn’t know I have it,” she said.

At the end of the call, he said, ‘Oh my gosh, my dad just called me. He will soon be home.

After the call, Paynes called CPS to report what he had been told. She and her co-hosts urged him to call the police himself, assuring him that she would have no problem reporting her claims.

“My number one fear would be that I would be accused of lying and helping because I kept it a secret,” he said.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Paynes, the podcast host, said she now wants to adopt some of the children herself.

Cohen in court last week. He has not yet responded to the charges.

“I was already a foster mom, but I still have some classes that need to be taken,” she said.

He wants to foster three of the six who are now in foster care.

Since the boy called the podcast, several of his siblings have told police that Cohen was abusing them.

It is unclear why Cohen was allowed to keep the children in his care after being accused of sexual indecency in 2019.

That accusation was launched by a Spanish exchange student. He was never convicted and was released on bail.

Asked why that was the case, a spokesperson for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office told DailyMail.com: “In general, there is a fairly high bar for a defendant to be held without bail, which it is a constitutionally protected right in most circumstances.

“While prosecutors can make bail recommendations, judges set it.”
