List of animal locations in GTA Online
a Animals have entered GTA Online 10 years after the game’s release. And now the Los Santos tourist office has a daily mission to photograph three animals every (real) day.

GTA Online animal list

Animals arrived in Los Santos with the Chop Shop update. On any given day, the LS Tourist Board selects three species of animals from a list of fifteen for you to photograph. You will receive an email on your phone with the list.
The available animals are:
- Boar
- Cat
- Chicken Hawk
- Cow
- Coyote
- Crow
- Deer
- Grand Commander
- Chicken
- Mountain lion
- Pig
- Poodle
- Pug
- Rabbit
- Seagull
The animals do have to be alive when you take the photo, so you’ll usually have to sneak up on them to get a good photo.
GTA Online animal spawn locations
Animals in GTA Online spawn in general areas, so treat the maps below as places get started look, not exact locations. In addition, when an animal spawns, it has a fixed route that it will follow. Sometimes they just hang around for a drink, while other spawns follow a set path to another location.
Animals also have rules about when they spawn, which have to do with the time of day and the weather. For example, cats do not spawn in the rain. We will try to note these rules below.
Where to find boars in GTA Online

Boars often appear in remote and hilly areas during winter day. A good place to look for a boar is behind the abandoned motel Sandy shores.
Boars will run away if you approach them, so make sure you crouch.
Where to find cats in GTA Online

Cats are quite common in the more urban areas of Los Santos, especially in the alleys along the main roads. Look for them when it’s not raining and usually (but not always) in winter day. You often see them along the roads in the Netherlands Vinewood Hillsand there is almost always one on the low wall to the east of the shop Sandy shores.
Where to find chicken hawks in GTA Online

Chicken hawks are inconspicuous birds often found around Los Santos. You can distinguish them from other birds, such as great cormorants and gulls, by their short necks and broad wings.
If you can reach the top Mount Chiliade, you’ll always see some circling around. If you don’t feel like going all the way there, there are usually several above the airport on the southeastern shore of Alamo Sea near Sandy Shores.
Where can you find cows in GTA Online

It is not surprising that you mainly find cows on farms, and not in the city itself.
You can find some of them at farm southeast of the Redwood Lights Track in the Grand Senora Desert. There are several larger farms in the region Grape seed neighborhood on the northeastern shore of the Alamo Sea.
Where to find coyotes in GTA Online

It is difficult to determine the best place to look for coyotes GTA Online because they are just everywhere. You will find them along almost every road that is not in Los Santos, day or night.
The area surrounding the Alamo Sea is a good place to look; it is flat and the vegetation is quite sparse, so the coyotes are easier to spot. Try the beach on the south side nearby Sandy shores or through the northeast Grape seed.
Where to find crows in GTA Online

There are only three places where crows spawn GTA Online – close to the east Sandy shores, Lake Zancudo in the west, and the top of Mount Chiliade. They only seem to appear during the day.
Where to find deer in GTA Online

Deer, like coyotes, can be found just about anywhere outside of the city. You will find them during the day along almost any rural road – just not in the desert south of the Alamo Sea. They don’t seem to spawn during rain and will always run away if you get too close.
Where to find great cormorants in GTA Online

Great cormorants only spawn in a few places in the country GTA Online. The best place to find them is Lake Zancudo in the West. Cormorants have long necks, making them easy to distinguish from chickens, hawks and crows. You see them both flying and standing along the water.

Chickens are also a farmyard creature, so you will have to go to the rural areas GTA Online to find them. During the daygo to the area south of Sandy shores or round Paleto Bayand look for houses with chicken coops (or just chickens) in the yard.
Where can you find mountain lions in GTA Online

Cougars spawn in some of the more wild areas of GTA Online. They are more common in night and also extremely aggressive, so you have to be careful when taking a photo.
The hiking trails up and around Mount Chiliade and the dirt road that leads down Catfish view are good places to check.
Where can you find pigs in GTA Online

Pigs are not the same as the wild boars you see around the island. These are the farm animals and as such you will once again head to the more rural areas of Los Santos and Blaine County.
For a photo of a pig you have to go to farms all around Sandy shores And Grape seed — the areas surrounding the Great Senora Desert and the Alamo Sea — during the day.
Where to find poodles in GTA Online

Poodles (and pugs) are pets you’ll find roaming the streets of Los Santos during the holidays day. For poodles, check the West Vinewood neighborhood along the northern edge of Los Santos itself or Del Perro Beach on the west coast.

Pugs, like poodles, are pets found on sidewalks in Los Santos neighborhoods during the day. Pugs are more common in northwest Los Santos Rich man And Rockford Hills.
Where can you find rabbits in GTA Online

Rabbits are another creature that is quite ubiquitous in the rural areas of GTA Online – actually you can find them everywhere outside Los Santos or the desert. They are small and difficult to spot, so look for them during the day If it is not raining. And make sure you sneak up on them, as they are very skittish (and tend to run into traffic).
Where to find seagulls in GTA Online
