‘Hell, some chapters will make you cry for weeks. You will read things that you do not want to read, you will have moments in which you do not want to run out of pages. But you have to continue. Stories keep the world turning. Live yours, don’t miss it.’

Lisa wrote: “I’ve been collecting inspirational quotes and words of wisdom, ripped from magazines, scribbled in notebooks, and journaled in my bottom drawer, since before I can remember.”

She added: ‘So at the end of what I know for many have been a difficult few years, I now share some of them with you. I hope you find them as inspiring as I do.

Lisa also said, “Honestly, if you’re looking for words to soothe and literally gently bring your heart and soul together, any of Courtney’s stunning books with her magnificent poetry nestled within their pages will do it for you.”

Her exit comes after a controversial year for the TV presenter, during which she was taken off the air following her disastrous Logies speech that resulted in a rape trial being delayed.

Lisa also made headlines last October for her explosive memoir that partly detailed her strained relationship with former Today co-host Karl Stefanovic.

In her book, she made a number of claims about Karl and how he left Nine over a dispute over the gender pay gap.

She claimed that the pay disparity between her and Karl when they hosted the breakfast show was once “so off the charts that no one would have believed it.”

However, it was later reported that he had actually earned more than Karl for years at the beginning of their on-air partnership, and it wasn’t until Seven tried to steal Karl from him that he was able to negotiate for the higher salary.

Lisa did not mention this important detail in her memoir, instead focusing on the pay disparity during her later years at the helm of Today.
