Lisa Wilkinson glams up and carries $7000 Chanel bag as she visits Sydney’s Bondi Icebergs restaurant

Lisa Wilkinson made a style statement as she stepped out for lunch in Sydney on Friday.

The feisty TV star looked chic in white trousers and a short trench coat as she visited Sydney’s Bondi Icebergs restaurant.

The 64-year-old completed her stylish look with a $7,000 beige woven Chanel bag and a pair of strappy pumps.

Lisa curled her short brunette locks and wore dark sunglasses as she arrived at the popular venue.

She completed her look with a stack of gold chain bracelets, a watch and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

For her makeup, the former The Project star opted for a muted palette with a soft nude lip gloss and blush.

The appearance follows news that Lisa plans to return to television after months of inactivity and five boring weeks in a courtroom, sources said.

The Channel 10 star and former morning show darling is keen to return to doing more “blockbuster interviews” in the new year, friends told the Weekend Australian last month.

Wilkinson quit The Project last November and although she remained on Ten’s payroll until the end of 2024, she has not appeared on the channel for over a year.

Despite her long absence from the network, Wilkinson is still in the public eye thanks to her role in a much-publicized defamation case.

She was embroiled in a case with Bruce Lehrmann, who sued Network 10 and Wilkinson over an interview with Brittany Higgins that aired on The Project and online.

Friends of Wilkinson say her court appearances have worked to her advantage as they provide the TV star with “a constant stream of publicity”.

“Yes, she’s been off the air for a while, but I don’t think anyone will have forgotten her,” former Seven and Nine director Peter Meakin told the Weekend Australian.

“I’m sure her loyal followers will remain loyal to her.”

Network Ten claim they are in talks to develop ‘other projects’ with Wilkinson.
