Lisa Vanderpump reignites Kristen Doute feud with pregnancy dig and The Valley star fires right back

Lisa Vanderpump joked about the paternity of Kristen Doute’s baby following the star’s recent pregnancy announcement.

The 41-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum is expecting her first child with fiancé Luke Broderick.

During a guest spot on the Housewives nightcap podcast this month, Lisa, 64, revealed she ‘never’ talks to Doute, who now appears on VPR spin-off The Valley.

When one of the hosts told her baby news, Vanderpump responded with a joke: “I didn’t hear that.” How on earth did that happen? Who is the father? Do we know?’

The hosts then informed her that Kristen is expecting the girl with Luke.

“Oh, she’s getting married?” Lisa then asked before admitting, “I’m actually not very involved with The Valley, even though I’m a producer.”

When Kristen caught wind of it, she shared a screenshot of a Page Six article about her former boss’s statement and added a clown emoji.

Adding another element to show off her reaction, she provided the soundtrack to the Instagram Story post with rapper Pitbull’s 2009 song Full of S**t.

Scheana Shay, who co-starred with Doute on Vanderpump Rules, defended her on her latest episode Scheananigans podcast.

On Friday’s episode of the show, she said, “One thing was the host brought up Kristen’s exciting pregnancy news and Lisa’s response was, ‘Do we know who the father is?’

“I just want to say – with all due respect – it was quite dark.”

She explained, “It’s super shady. But especially because Lisa is a producer at The Valley.’

Shay, who has been removed from Vanderpump Rules as the show searches for a new cast, added, “Like, you know who Luke is.

“You know he’s a cast member on this show. They get engaged this season. And if you don’t know who someone is on a show you produce, why is your name in the credits as a producer?’

Scheana’s monologue continued, “It’s just a paycheck [for Lisa]basically. We know the struggles Kristen has openly shared on her path to becoming a mother [knowing] her pregnancy loss… even if you don’t like someone, it’s just a little distasteful on this topic of motherhood. How hard is it to say, ‘I wish her the best’?’

Shay also explained why she believes there is tension between the former employer and employee duo.

“I feel like Kristen has always stood up to her and never just bowed down and said, ‘Okay, Lisa is the boss and producer,’ as if she’s going to tell her how she feels. Whereas I’ll be nice and respectful and be like, “Yes ma’am, okay. Jump? How high?”

Doute showed off her diamond engagement ring after Broderick popped the question on a yacht in Maui, Hawaii, earlier this year.

She captioned social media photos of the proposal: “I’m wrapped around your finger like this ring I’m wearing. Out of all the fish in the sea you chose me.”
