Lisa Snowdon has revealed that she has had “sexual experiences with women” and admitted that they can be “more intense and generous.”
She talked about her relationship history in her new book, saying she had “experimented a little bit” in the past, but was “very attracted to the opposite sex.”
The TV presenter, 51, who has been engaged to entrepreneur George Smart since 2016, was once famously in a five-year relationship with George Clooney and footballer Jay Bothroyd and David Walliams.
In quotes obtained by The sunshe explained: ‘I was of course very attracted to the opposite sex, and sometimes the same sex, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t experiment a bit – that was fun and I certainly don’t regret it.
“A friend told me that many menopausal women who are attracted to women act on it because they feel like they don’t need men anymore. And I kind of understand it.’

She continued, “Sleeping with women can be a much more sensual, gentle, intense, and giving experience.”
Although happily engaged to her current partner since 2016, Lisa has enjoyed a string of high-profile relationships.
Lisa dated Hollywood actor George for five years after they met on a Martini ad in 2000.
She has since spoken about their relationship, labeling it “wild,” but vowed to keep their sex life a secret.
Speak against The sun last year, Lisa recalled, “George was charming, a very nice man, great fun and we had a great time. It was pretty wild.’
She added: “Sometimes I think it will be written on my tombstone: ‘George Clooney once dated Lisa Snowdon.'”
Her new book aims to help other women, especially those going through menopause. She spoke out about the stigma of talking about menopause and taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) as a treatment.
In an interview with Women’s Health UKthe TV and radio host reflected on how she coped with her symptoms after entering perimenopause at age 44.

She shared how HRT ‘really helped her’ and why she supports a campaign to make it more accessible.
Lisa told the magazine: ‘I am part of the Menopause Mandate campaign calling for HRT to be free on the NHS in England, as it is in Scotland and Wales.
“Since I went into perimenopause at age 44, HRT has really helped me, but there’s still a stigma around taking it — just like talking about menopause in general.”
The Department of Health announced last month that from 1 April women in England who are prescribed HRT as part of menopause treatment will be able to access a new scheme to access a year’s worth of treatment for just under £20 .
