“We haven’t really spoken to anyone else apart from each other, coming home feeling supercharged!! I love you @johntorodecooks’

The holiday comes after the couple landed another TV show together.

The actress shared her excitement about working with the MasterChef judge, again 57, who has fronted John And Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen on ITV1 since 2019.

When asked if she had any work in the pipeline besides John, Lisa told The Mirror: ‘Exciting yes! Although I’m not sure if we can say anything about it yet!

“But we’ll go out, do some traveling and make TV together soon… Which we’re both really looking forward to.

“We’re both so busy that if we get a chance to work together, we can spend more time together and that’s a real privilege.”

Last month, Lisa opened up the secret of her happy marriage to John, with whom she tied the knot in 2019.

The TV star said their partnership works because they “really like and like each other,” before moving on to her husband’s “caring side.”

Meanwhile, Lisa gave a little insight into being a step parent amid their blended family, with the couple sharing five children together.

While speaking to The Mirror on her and John’s Weekend Kitchen cooking show return, Lisa was asked what the perfect recipe for a great marriage is.

She commented, “We really love and fancy each other! What I love about being married is that it’s about a partnership. John and I are a good team. We know how to take care of each other.’

The actress went on to praise her husband’s caring nature and recalled the sweet thing he did to cheer her up on her birthday.

She said, “Last week I was feeling a little grumpy about my upcoming birthday, so John made me dinner. Then he bought me tea and chocolate, and when I went into the kitchen he had cleaned up everything, he lit candles, everything looked so beautiful, it’s those little things, he’s just so caring.’

While she loved seeing John tidy up the kitchen, she did comment that his tidiness can be “annoying” at times as she herself is quite sloppy – especially when it comes to the condition of their freezer.

It comes after Lisa revealed that her and husband John Torode’s Weekend Kitchen is returning for an eighth season on ITV.

The actress turned chef gushed that she was “amazing” making the show with her other half, who she married in 2019.

She told The Sun: ‘We have a new series starting at the end of April. We like to do it. It’s doing well in the ratings.”

‘It will take quite a while, because we have to come up with about 40 recipes for the whole show. John and I sit down and think of ideas.’

‘We then test all the recipes. That’s the hardest part.’
