Lip Reader Reveals What Kate and William Said to the Jordanian Royal Family
A lip reader has revealed what was said between the Jordanian royals and William and Kate as the Prince and Princess of Wales arrived for today’s lavish wedding in Amman.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, 40 and 41, traveled to Jordan – where Kate lived for a short time during her childhood – to watch Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan marry Saudi architect Rajwa Al-Saif, 29.
When they arrived at the Zahran Palace, the couple were greeted by King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan and stopped to catch up before taking their seats.
The last time the couples saw each other was at King Charles’s coronation in May, and according to a lip-reader, Queen Rania said to William during their conversation: ‘They were so good’.
While it’s unclear who she was referring to, it could be a reference to the couple’s three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
When the Princess and Prince of Wales arrived at the Zahran Palace, the couple were greeted by King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.
King Abdullah II also seemed to reflect on a memory in the conversation, saying to William, “Yes, I remember, it was beautiful.”
Prince William said, ‘Yeah, it’s crazy, I know! They are beautiful, yes they are,” although it is unclear who the prince was referring to.
The king grinned before replying, “Thank you.”
When William and the monarch shook hands at the beginning of their conversation, the king said, “Hello, how are you feeling?” while the queen kissed him and said, “So good to see you again.”
The Prince of Wales then added: ‘Thank you, you are very kind, it was wonderful, thank you’, before pausing to add: ‘very much so’.
Kate is said to have asked the Jordanian royal couple how they are doing, adding: “There is so much going on.”
Queen Rania replied, “Yes, there is so much. I look forward to going on vacation after this.’
William and Kate then both said ‘oh my god’ – with William laughing.
“See you at reception,” Kate added.

The Prince of Wales then put his arms around Kate, as Queen Rania said, “Thank you very much, we’ll see you later.”
And then, at the same time, King holds up his hands and says, “Honey, yes, we’ll see you.”
Jordan holds a special place in Kate and William’s hearts and the royal couple took their children on holiday to the country in 2021.
The Middleton family spent two years in Jordan in the early 1980s, starting when Kate was just two years old, after her father Michael, a British Airways flight coordinator, moved to Amman for work.
Princess Beatrice, 34, and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 39, were also in attendance
